From the time we pulled into the dealership and viewed their impressive amount of quality inventory, to working with sales agent Joseph Belcher, our experience was 1st Rate, Top Class. As we entered the doors of the dealership we were greeted by a friendly sales staff member who offered us complimentary soft drinks and water. The show room was immaculate and offered an impressive view of the Asheville Mountains. Our sales agent Joseph Belcher was very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. He listened and responded very well to our automotive needs. We highly recommend Skyland Automotive and Joseph Belcher (sales agent). Chris Jordan was also very informative as their business manager. Also Ashley Summerrow, Allstate Insurance Sales Agent, worked with us and actually gave us better insurance coverage at a better price than our previous insurance. Overcharging Today I brought my 2015 RAM 1500 Laramie EcoDiesel, which I purchased from Skyland, in for its first oil change and service check. I had understood th Today I brought my 2015 RAM 1500 Laramie EcoDiesel, which I purchased from Skyland, in for its first oil change and service check. I had understood that the first four of these were free. I also understood that the DEF fluid was refilled with the oil change, so as it was also time for that I asked the Service Rep to do it. He asked me if I also wanted the tires rotated and I said yes, I guess so, if they need it. The Service Rep made no mention of cost for any of these items. However, when my truck was finished he presented me with an invoice #577391 for $70.88. When I questioned it, he told me it was for two gallons of DEF at $24.35 each and $12.99 for tire rotation and air pressure check. It seems to me that customers should be told of costs before work is done. Further, on checking I find that PEAK DEF is sold in stores for $5.88 per gallon and $11.87 for a two gallon jug. That means you are charging more than four hundred percent more than the retail cost of DEF per gallon, and that is price gouging. Outrageous. Rest assured, while I will return for my free oil changes, I will ask for a written list of all costs related to anything to be done to my truck before any work is done. Further, I will not have the DEF refilled again at Skyland. Your TV sales commercials say, “No hidden fees, no funny math at Skyland.” It’s really too bad you don’t live by that rule in your service department. – 5/2/2016 More

Upsetting My car has been in the service dept for 2 weeks now and 3 other times recently. Each week getting a different answer as to when it will be fixed--Today they told me the 26th of next month, stating the part it "stuck" in Michigan. ???? For the amount I'm paying for the part and the cost of the rental car I'm using while I'm waiting I could drive to the warehouse to get the part myself, it's just very frustrating. Just like my first purchase, this was a pleasant experience because there was no hassle. My salesman Joseph Belcher and sales manager Brad Belcher were both highly professional. I was offered a more than fair deal on the vehicle I was purchasing as well as being offered more than Blue Book value on my trade in. I highly recommend this dealership as well as Joe and Brad. More

When we went in and he was writing it up, he said " I am sorry, the sticker price was wrong". He then told me that the price was actually $15,500. And even though I was a repeat customer the new sales manager would not budge off of the price. I will tell everyone I know DO NOT go there! More
Terrible service over and over with different agents I ran away from the Jeep brand because of this service department. It was always trouble to get anything done. My first interaction was to replace a seat cover as a warranty item. This took them multiple days and at one point they told me they couldn't figure out how to get the cover off and that was the reason for the delays. I've been there for recalls and it is always a terrible experience. I call and call and call and no one will return my calls to schedule an appointment. If I walk up, there isn't anyone there and I get an appointment for a couple days away. This doesn't make sense to me. If they can schedule me that quickly, why can't they return the calls requesting service? My last recall I got in my car and immediately noticed a problem with the power steering pump screaming. I was told it was probably just an air bubble and if it didn't go away in a week or so to bring it back. I did that and they didn't remember me or the problem. A tech that happened to be there at the time opened the hood and saw the power steering fluid was way low. He topped it off and they told me that they didn't need to do anything with the fluid on my recall and it must just have been a coincidence that I got a leak at that very same time. I brought it back in for another day and they said they can't find a leak, but again swear that they didn't do anything with it on the last recall. I've recalled my business with them. More
