The first technician I spoke with said they could check all my fluids and when I asked about pricing he ask another technician to come over and he stated that they could not check my transmission fluid that I would need to make an appointment to get diagnostic testing that cost $89.99. The second technician was really rude and insisted that I make an appointment to get the diagnostic test done. I told him I already knew what was wrong and just needed my transmission fluid checked and he kept stating I needed an appointment. I left the dealership with no appointment and being made feeling like I was being taking advantage of because I am a women. I told my brother of the situation so he called and talked to the service manager, who did nothing. I bought my 2010 Dodge Nitro there, and definitely will not buy another vehicle from Skyland Automotive or refer anyone to them. I did call the Dodge dealership in Marion NC and they will check my transmission fluid for me with no diagnostic check. More

Horrible service We saw a vehicle we liked in their used inventory. We asked for more information and Brad Roth started corresponding with us. We live in the Raleigh area, a good 3 and half hours away, and by the time we were able to get down to Asheville it was close to a month since first contact with Brad. Throughout that period Brad contact was minimal but with quick answers either by email or txt whenever we asked about the Vehicle. We were fine with his responses during that period. We drove down one Thursday and tried to negotiate a price. He said we were way off because we asked for $5000 off and eventually we went home without the Vehicle. Two weeks later I saw that it was still available and txted Brad, to see if they would consider our offer. We got no reply. We were deciding on buying new(at another dealer) vs this used vehicle. The price difference between new and used was only $2000. We just wanted to know if they'd accept our offer of $5000 less. An answer either way would have been fine. Instead we got no response so we called directly to the dealership and explained the situation. Brad responds back rudely in an email saying that the best offer was made when we visited them. We don't really care if our offer is accepted or not but I think not responding is disrespectful and then to get a rude email is even worse. More
low key, no pressure, quite effective I worked with Eric Ragan and Brittany Gortney. Having come to Skyland to look at a 2016 Mazda Miata, I was disappointed when I realized the cockpit wa I worked with Eric Ragan and Brittany Gortney. Having come to Skyland to look at a 2016 Mazda Miata, I was disappointed when I realized the cockpit was too small. I then noticed a used BMW Z-4 on the lot and inquired about it. Because Eric was busy with another customer, Brittany immediately volunteered to help me. Within minutes, the top was down and we were off for a test drive in a car I knew nothing about. Fortunately, Brittany was quite knowledgeable and essentially taught me what I needed to know while we drove. She seemed more of a car aficianado than a salesperson. Not once did she exert the slightest pressure. I returned several days later and Eric picked up where Brittany left off. He is a nice, unassuming guy. There was no pressure from him either, just decent concern that I had all of my questions answered. The rest is history. I now own the car. In sum, the internet may get you to this dealership, but it is the people there who will make you want to buy from them. More

His job is customer service when things are not done correctly instead I was told he 'had things to do" and basically didn't have time for my complaints. My car was serviced and when I picked it up it was filthy with grease, once I started complaining it became everyone's else's mistake not their. More

used GMC Our experience with this dealership was fantastic. Saw a truck online and drove about 11/2 hours to look at it and was able to buy it the same day.
