Purchase and service of my BMW Z4 - excellent! Even though a BMW dealer in Tampa was closer, we received the "idiot" treatment from them, so headed to Lakeland and Fields BMW. The salesman was awe Even though a BMW dealer in Tampa was closer, we received the "idiot" treatment from them, so headed to Lakeland and Fields BMW. The salesman was awesome and not pushy, or obnoxious ( like the Tampa dealer)...........and we got the perfect car. The service of the Z4 has always been 10 stars! We've had other makes of vehicles and have dealt with many service departments through the years, but Fields service department leaves all the others in the dust! The best, by far! We have dealt with Tina Tyner in service and she is tops. Can say nothing negative about Fields BMW sales or service. We would recommend them to everyone!!! More

He also arranged to have Melissa Mumbauer show us several vehicles while he worked with another customer so that we did not lose any time. Melissa was very patient, answered all vehicle questions fully, and even proposed some vehicles we had not previously considered. Frank even came back to the dealership after hours to meet us when we realized that we had accidentally left an item in our trade-in vehicle. Now that is customer service at its finest! More

Cheap, small time used car dealeship tricks Bought a $50,000 used car. All was great, till the drive home (I live 200 miles away) when I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel. The very next Bought a $50,000 used car. All was great, till the drive home (I live 200 miles away) when I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel. The very next morning I took it to a bmw dealer near my house, where they found damage under the front left bumper. Cost me $680... Called Fields to protest, they told me to fax them the invoice, which I did. A week goes by, so I call them and they proceed to tell me they wont Honor the expense. I've been a bmw customer for a long time and I've come to expect a certain level of service and satisfaction in exchange for the money (and lots of it!!). If I buy a car of that value from a "reputable" dealership, I would expect it to be in top shape. I didn't feel the need to get on all fours to check if it had damage underneath... they said they did an inspection??? If you're in the market for a BMW, do your self a favor and go to a more "reputable" dealer. As a BMW customer, you deserve a lot more. More
