Scammed with the price&commercials are not true This is going to be a long one. My husband and I were supposed to Work with Matt, but he ended up having to call in the day we had an appt. So we ended up working with Dallas Shaver, which is a great guy. We went in not knowing if we were going to be approved for anything, but luckily we did. We had $2,000 to put down and heard a commercial on the radio about doubling your down payment so it should now be $4,00 right?? No. We kept asking where does the extra $2,000 come in and Randall said "it covers the bank fees and all the other fees that are needed." We looked at the sheet that had all of the broke down parts of where the loan went and not one area had "bank fees" in it. So what if we had $4,00 down and doubled it to $8,000, i guess there would be $4,000 in bank fees too?? The manager, Randall I believe, pulled up a white 2014 Ford Escape. I told him that I saw it on the website and he kept saying it was a different one, because he did not want to give us the actual blowout price which was supposed to be around $12,125 I believe, he ended up selling it to us at the actual price of $15,989. Overpriced and wanted to take advantage of the fact that we did not pull up the website, even though we kept saying that was the one we saw for cheaper and he kept declining it. later on before we bought it we pointed out the huge crack on the windshield and said we would have to put $500 more in the loan to fix it even though we were already scammed with the price. So for a $15,989 car I would expect almost something nearly new considering it only had 66,105 miles on it. The windshield had a crack of almost 9 inches, all on the bottom of the doors have rust, and I am about to have to replace the shocks and the struts. I absolutely love my car, but I feel as if Randall saw he could take advantage and he did. Dallas Shaver was new so I do not blame him at all, he was a great salesman. I am only disappointed with Randall, but I guess that is what I should expect from a dealership. Overall, besides that whole debacle, I was pleased and might go back, but actually stand my ground.
