After Test ride of the truck we finally negotiated a price that was in my range and within the hour we were on our way home. Family Toyota were thousands less than comparable sales of this same vehicle, some with 60,000 miles more than the 33,000 I purchased. First impressions make a world of difference I contacted the dealership and asked to speak with Sierra Mickens because of the rave reviews she received on DealerRater. In the initial conversation, she appeared to be very nice and my husband and I were looking forward to meeting with her. See, we live in Austin, TX and were driving up to get my vehicle repaired. She even emailed us some vehicle options based on our preference that we wanted to take a look at. On the day we came up to see her, which was only a few days later, while we were on the road, I received a confirmation call of our meeting by someone named Mo … sounded like he was a manager or something. He confirmed that we would be meeting with Sierra. Upon arrival when I asked for her, they were shocked when I asked for her because they said she was in Barcelona, Spain. Now that really pissed me off because she had enough time to tell us that she would not be there due to a previously scheduled vacation (and we would have understood, really!) But we were led to believe that she would be there. Even while driving up to Dallas area, when I asked Mo if Sierra would still be available, he had enough time to tell me that she would not be available as she was on vacation ... but he still said, "yes." Once we arrived, we were definitely disappointed and frustrated. We were met by a young gentleman named Isaac who did his best to salvage our first time visit. But what kind of turned us off is that he tried to invoke church in the conversation, and when my husband indicated that we don't go to church (our own personal reasons), he continued to prompt us with church innuendos. I'm pretty sure that we won't be coming back because first impressions make a world of difference. More
