But today is another level of misleading, rude, and uncivilized negotiation from Family Toyota at Arlington. Mr. Cervantes, the salesman from Family Toyota at Arlington, has approached and been trying to get me to the dealership many times. So today I decided to go there and hopefully make a deal to buy a 2019 CRV4 for my sister. The negotiation wasn't easy at all. We walked out the dealership three times and finally got to the agreed price at 27k out-the-door. Every time the manager asked us to come back to continue the negotiation, and I knew what they are two doing. I had been asking (at least five times) for the VIN of the vehicle so that I know what I am buying, but they didn't give it to me. One time Mr. Cervantes asked for my sister driver's license to make a copy, and he intentionally forgot it at the photocopy machine so that we won't walk out. I had to follow him to the photocopy machine myself to take back the driver's license. Mr. Cervantes kept asking my sister to fill out many forms but still did not give us any information about the car nor the VIN. There was one form marked as "Market Survey" with the fine print of privacy notice in the end, and Mr. Cervantes said that it was a credit application (???). I have been buying many cars, so I am pretty sure that I know how a credit application looks. When I realized that they didn't have the car in stock, I asked to stop the process and request to let me know when they have it; then I will be back for negotiation. Mr. Cervantes lost his control and started swearing at us, including "get the f*xx out of here." While walking away from us, Mr. Cervantes hit my upper right hand. I did not expect that Mr. Cervantes, who had been inviting me consistently with beautiful language to the dealership all of a sudden, started swearing because the negotiation didn't follow his way. I want to share this experience for car buyers out there so that they can avoid this dealership. If you are looking for honest car salespersons, Mr. Cervantes and his manager are not among them. If you are looking for a pleasant, straight forward negotiation, this dealership is not for you. I now that car buying is always a hassle process, but what I experience at Family Toyota of Arlington is at another negative level. More

Customer service in purchasing a preowned Camry. Anthony Cervantes is a very personable sales person. He was very understanding regarding my needs and helped me select the perfect car! Anthony also gave me much needed personal assistance by picking me up at my home, giving me a ride to my Credit Union to sign those documents , then back to the dealership to finish with Scott in finance. Anthony then showed me all the details about my car such as syncing my phone with the blue tooth, etc . He made sure I had no questions about my car before I left the dealership and answer any questions that I did have. You truly have a gem in Anthony Cervantes and I have told him that I look forward to returning and buying another car from him in the future.( will review Scott in finance separately as I do have comments and questions regarding the customer service received by Scott). Your Best Salesperson I just wanted to let you know that Dontha Robinson (Dontae) was excellent to work with during the purchase of my new car. There were a ton of issues, I just wanted to let you know that Dontha Robinson (Dontae) was excellent to work with during the purchase of my new car. There were a ton of issues, wrong car delivered at first. Dontae jumped right on it and had the correct car for me in under 24 hours. Dontae was able to talk me into trading in my old car by giving me a price that made me willing to part with it. And that was no easy feat. The new car came in from another dealership with the wrong accessories package and Dontae had everything straightened out before we finished with the purchase of the car. Including getting us the correct color for the floor pads for the carpet in the vehicle. Kudos to the team at Family Toyota for making the experience enjoyable even after the false start with the wrong car. More
