That’s exactly what happened to me when I took my 2017 Tucson with 95000 miles to the service department and I was told I need a new engine, unfortunately the claim was denied for Negligence because I didn’t maintained the car from 60-90 0000 miles. The reason I didn’t service the car in the dealer from this mileage but I had the receipts of all these oil changes in the glove compartment of the Tucson but Mike the service manager never communicated this requirement with me and he told the person Hyundai claim processor that I didn’t have this documents resulting in the claim been denied. I talked and talked to Hyundai to reverse the claim but they told me once a final determination is reach they cannot reverse it. This is my story… More
