My 7500 mile warranty check up went quite well, the rep was excellent. However, less than 3 days after this service with nearly no miles driven the vehicle would not start. The ignition button activated, b was excellent. However, less than 3 days after this service with nearly no miles driven the vehicle would not start. The ignition button activated, but then nothing except a message that there was a problem with the starting system… which was obvious since the car had not started, would not go into a drive gear and the steering wheel power assist did not come on. Whether something bad happened at the service center or not I can not say, but the situation was “suggestive”. Then they could not get me in for service for at least 2 weeks, so I chose to have my vehicle with less than 8000 miles towed to a dealership closer to my home. They, too, were busy and have not provided me with an update on when/if it has even been evaluated yet. They did give me a loaner, as the problem is quite likely under warranty service. More

"33 point inspection" felt like a scam. Technician failed to notice the break fluid reservoir was empty which should have led them to the blown brake lines which needed complete replacement Technician failed to notice the break fluid reservoir was empty which should have led them to the blown brake lines which needed complete replacement. The engine code (which they did not read until I insisted before leaving) led them to tell me I needed evap system repairs which could be costly (1 can of cleaner through the gas tank and the code cleared and passed emissions a day later). They also charged me $180 to "look at" a broken rear hatch actuator. I informed them on arrival that the button had merely pushed up inside and I couldn't get to it easily. They told me it was completely broken and would cost about $400 to replace. Upon my arrival home I took it all apart using a youtube video as reference and put the original button back in place. It works fine and cost nothing. Sincerely doubt anyone actually looked at it at all. If you come here for anything other than work that was included with a vehicle purchase, or for warranty work that is covered by the manufacturer, you are throwing away your money. More
