After a BAD experience at Route 44 Toyota (Bait and Switch, of which the add for the sold truck is still on the internet 2wks later), I went to Falmouth Toyota. I told them about Route 44 and they laug Switch, of which the add for the sold truck is still on the internet 2wks later), I went to Falmouth Toyota. I told them about Route 44 and they laughed. I said what I wanted for a truck and price and we came to an agreement. For my trade in I found Route 44 had STOLEN my registration. They never asked for it, just took it and I HAD BEEN DRIVING WITHOUT IT. Stay away from Route 44 Toyota. Falmouth Toyota was good to deal with. I chose to wait a week to pick up the truck and it could have been serviced during that week but they did wait till the day I came and I waited an exta 2hrs. Could have been better but I did buy there and I'm happy with the truck. More
This dealership, without question, is clearly the best dealer I have ever done business with. No other dealer comes close. If all your dealers were as good as the Murphys, Toyota would be untouchabl dealer I have ever done business with. No other dealer comes close. If all your dealers were as good as the Murphys, Toyota would be untouchable. As it is, Toyota's name is still admired. Max McCreery Martha's Vineyard, MA More

I began searching for a used late model 4Runner in January 2010 over a couple of weeks and found one of several vehicles at Falmouth Toyota. There, I made contact with Tom Murphy who was polite, prof January 2010 over a couple of weeks and found one of several vehicles at Falmouth Toyota. There, I made contact with Tom Murphy who was polite, professional and informed when answering my questions about the vehicle. I especially appreciated the professional manner in which he communicated with me - answering questions promptly and not being peppered with a barrage of sales-oriented emails or phone calls upon first contact. My experience at Falmouth Toyota was refreshing in contrast to my experience with a dealer in Enfield, Connecticut from whom I received upwards of 8 self-praising emails in a week after a single contact/inquiry, one in which a salesperson went on about himself, his interests, his hobbies, how successful he was, his family - how his daughters are "expensive", implying that he needs a sale. I found this tactic very offensive and immediately ruled them out even though they had a vehicle I was interested in. After consideration of several factors, I decided to purchase a new 4Runner and began inquiring with several dealers in my area. Here in Maine, I ran into several dealers who didn't have the vehicle I wanted and gave me a time-frame of up to 4 weeks necessary to get it. I called another dealer in Topsham, ME seeking a price on the 2010 4Runner Limited I wanted so that I could get back to my finance representative that day. I called them on a Monday and didn't hear back from them until the following Friday. I was shocked, you'd think someone would be more motivated to sell a new car, especially in today's economy. So, I ended up back at Falmouth Toyota because of the dead-ends I was hitting in my area. Tom, again, was professional in communication and not a single time did he make me feel pressured about a purchase. He was able to locate the exact vehicle color & options that I wanted in a matter of hours, not days!! The price that we negotiated on the vehicle was very fair and for someone who has hated every past experience in purchasing a new car, I must admit, to my surprise, not only was this was my best experience ever, but Tom and his staff actually made it an enjoyable experience. Only after the final price was agreed upon, we realized we would have to take possession of the car outside Massachusetts to avoid a forfeiture of a portion of the sales tax due to a lower rate in Maine. Falmouth Toyota agreed to deliver the car across the Mass. border for no additional charge. Thanks! That was awesome! Falmouth Toyota has exceeded all of my expectations of new car dealers and have me convinced that the purchase of a new car actually can be a positive and rewarding experience. Special thanks to Tom Murphy, Amy Killoran and John O'Keefe for all of your assistance in making this a smooth and enjoyable process! More
From the sales & finance managers to the sales and service reps, there is no other reason for me to EVER consider car shopping anywhere else. Even for someone with not so great credit - they were frie service reps, there is no other reason for me to EVER consider car shopping anywhere else. Even for someone with not so great credit - they were friendly, professional and treated me with the utmost respect (something I can't say for their most direct competition in Hyannis) while working their numbers and making it possible for me to drive away with what I wanted at a price I could afford. As to service, it's WELL worth the drive from Dennis. NOOOO problem with warranty work and it's always done when they say it will be. Excellent dealership in my opinion. More
