Buyers beware. I wanted to share a recent experience I had with Falmouth Toyota. I went in to the dealership with my 2012 Honda Odyssey Mini Van. I was looking to trade the vehicle for a 2012 Toyota Highl had with Falmouth Toyota. I went in to the dealership with my 2012 Honda Odyssey Mini Van. I was looking to trade the vehicle for a 2012 Toyota Highlander that was left over from a Toyota Company Lease with just over 1000mi on it. I test drove the vehicle and wasn't to impressed with how much road noise there was compared to my Honda Odyssey. I should say the reason for the trade was to move from a 2wd to a 4wd for the winter, as last winter I got stuck in the mini van, also it was going to be a birthday gift. Here is where the Buyers Beware comes in; I sat down with one of Falmouth Toyotas salesmen. He asked me how much I owed on my Honda, and I gave him the honest amount to almost the exact dollar. He went away for 10 minutes or so and came back with a piece of paper with the amounts they would give me for my trade and how much the new, but used car sale price was. Now I have some equity into my minivan which the sticker price was over $44,000. I owe $31,000 on the vehicle. Kelly Blue book has my exact vehicle listed at $37,500 for a trade and a Honda dealer in the same zip code has the same model with more miles listed for $39699. How much do you think Falmouth Toyota appraised my Honda Odyssey at? Yup $31,000. The amount I owe. And the dealer presented it like he was doing me a favor for $31,000. Let this be a lesson to people that are trading in there old for new. Don't tell the dealer what u owe. And don't be afraid to walk away. My over 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, serving this country got me a hand shake and a point to the exit, and it wasn't even my first time I bought a vehicle at this dealership. I felt a sting in my pants as I drove way in my last new car. Butt they didn't get me this time. More

I traveled an hour to Falmouth Toyota to check out a used Tacoma Truck I found on their website. A very pleasant salesman named Jack Moloney greeted us. He gave me very good number for the truck, we shook hands, and I bought the truck. No hassles, no back and forth with the sale manager, no nasty negotiating, no xx, just a simple pleasant deal. This was so refreshing after going to dealers and getting the typical sales tactics they pull (“I can give you a great deal on a new truck” or “You should lease a new truck”). When I picked up the truck another salesman Anthony Spagone actually went over the truck with me and showed me all of its features. I bought five Tacoma’s and no one has ever done this before. A sales team the helps each other out, how great is that. Go to Falmouth Toyota and ask for Jack, you won’t be disappointed. Tell him Tony Sent ya. More

I had some phone tag and other issues at first with different staff - once I talked to Matt all was well and my loyalty to FT is stronger than ever. I include Tony just because he stopped by when I was in the showroom and he has always been my advocate - so seeing him as I waited to sign on the dotted line for my elegant blizzard pearl brand new car made me feel even more confident that this was a wise move...I gave my 2007 Prius to my 21 year old who lives in LA - the first thing we did after driving it cross country was set her up with a Toyota dealership in Pasadena because I wanted her to feel the confidence and security that I feel based on my experience with FT. You are great - the only criticism is that you need a few more women on your staff roster! And it would be great if Toyota promoted more plug in stations! Can't wait for the App.... More
