Seeing as though we had to drive half an hour away we would have the oil changed. We were also informed we needed the tires rotated. 2 hours later we left. It wouldn't have been so bad but we still have to return for the recall work. Not very happy, Sean Connor More

Good but not great I had to wait much longer than usual for an oil change. I was informed that they had a difficult time resetting my oil change light. We certainly could not have anticipated a major power-train failure a mere 3 months after expiration of the 60 mos OR 100,000 mile warranty! That said, I began to suspect a problem on a recent long trip and so I had made a service appointment for a Monday. Who would know that as we ventured out for a fall foliage weekend in upstate New York that the transmission decided it could not wait for service and failed us en-route. Although the vehicle was towed to the dealer on a Thursday, I did not expect any work would be done until my appointed time 4 days hence.. unfortunately, even if I had been able to drive in for my appointment time I found out service would be delayed 1 day, 1 added day of a pricey car rental for which the dealer apologized, but offered no assistance, not even a service loaner. Once the service analysis was done, my service advisor (Erica Behling) was quick to give me some part replacement options plus the opinion of their parts manger as to what might be my most advisable option. While the various prices were not that far apart, I took the slightly more expensive one as it came with a 30 month, unlimited mileage warranty. Since the vehicle was towed to the dealer (who we had bought the car from new in 2013) I did not feel that price shopping was an option, especially since I had no relationship with shops like Aamco etc. I want to try and cry on Chryslers shoulder a bit to see if they would offer any partial cost relief (since the failure came so close to the warranty expiration date)but don't have a lot of faith in my success. By the Friday of the service week I called Erica for an update. After checking with her service Tech she said they "might" get it done later that day. We agreed on a Saturday "drop-dead" time of 11:00A.M.; as I walked up to the service desk at 11:00 the work order had just been turned in and the paper work was being finished. Although I had convinced myself that the car would not be ready and that I was in for another two days of rental, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful that Erica and her team delivered as promised. So, a costly lesson about buying extended warranties was learned, but being as this was my first major mechanical issue in 55+ years of driving I guess I feel pretty lucky with my choice of vehicles. I must admit that at the end of the day I probably feel well served by the Caprara Dodge dealership and by their personnel as well. My biggest complaint (that I felt was in the control of the dealer) centered on the fact that even though they called two days before my scheduled appointment (and two days after the car was towed into them) to confirm my service appointment, that they would be a day late in beginning my service. I still feel they should have compensated me for the added day of car rental. More

Very unprofessional in appearance and unkept. Pothole in the parking areas. The drop box is tipping over for at least a year. I have done business with other dealers in the area that put you to shame. I will be returning to them ASAP. More
