My husband and I have never owned a Kia before. We always thought they were lower end vehicles and never looked into them. So when we purchase another vehicle last year, we never even went to a Kia dealershi thought they were lower end vehicles and never looked into them. So when we purchase another vehicle last year, we never even went to a Kia dealership. After speaking with Roxanna Kemppainen last week, stopping in upon her encouragement, we learned that we didn’t know all the improvements Kia has made over the years. I left with two brochures and much information about the Kia Carnival, which will be my new vehicle through Roxanna as soon as I trade in my current vehicle. They all greeted me with kindness, offered me an espresso in their fancy machine, as well as treats. I settled on a flavored tea while enjoying the resident mascot, a sweet little puppy that was there. I highly recommend the expertise of Ewald Kia and their friendly staff hands down! If you haven’t tried them before, go now! You will not be disappointed. More
I was reluctant to purchase a newer vehicle just because of not having had a car payment for over 15 years, but I had to do something since the 1999 Ford Taurus I had inherited from my Mum after her passing of not having had a car payment for over 15 years, but I had to do something since the 1999 Ford Taurus I had inherited from my Mum after her passing was nickel and diming me to death. I wanted to try an SUV and shopped around uncertain of what I wanted. I went to Ewald and test drove a few vehicles, but again was uncertain about spending a lot of money. I tried other dealerships and had some not-so-good experiences, so I went back to Ewald and wanted to purchase the 2019 Kia Sportage I had test-driven. Luckily, it was still available as the inventory was pretty limited overall. I was directed to Shjonna and could not have been more happy with my experience! She even came in on her day off to accommodate my schedule! She is a very friendly, personable Sales Rep and when she didn't have answers to some of my questions, she made sure she found out from her associates. Nick, in the Finance Department. was also great to work with. I was in and out in my new (to me) vehicle in about an hour and a quarter, and could not be happier with my purchase. Still not loving the car payments but to have a safe, reliable vehicle is priceless! More
We worked with Mike and even though we had a unique situation Ewald made every effort and was able to solve our problem without much fuss at all. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would only like to say that during these crazy covid times it’s unbelievable that they are able to get vehicles period let alone quality vehicles that run well and maintain a clean safe working environment. I felt like every question I asked was answered and all the employees were eager to help. When I asked for a little time they didn’t harass me were friendly I can’t imagine the people I felt with being anything less than courteous with customers. Just a great experience overall. More

Ewald sucks bought new car here and at 16000 miles they said tires were junk they have done all the maintains on car. They they said tire company only warranty’s tires for the first 5000 miles and said we said tires were junk they have done all the maintains on car. They they said tire company only warranty’s tires for the first 5000 miles and said we have to pay full price for new ones next they said they would not do anything to help pay for tire cuz now there’s 41000 miles on it why is this my fault it took this long for you guys to get ahold of tire company not my problem plus have the 20 year 200000 mile warranty would not think I need parts replaced at 16000 on a brand new 2020 car don’t go her worst company ever More
Complete mess,..wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Put a deposit down in June as Our Car was due July 12th, we were told a week prior it would be there early on the 9th, and after several weeks of being tol deposit down in June as Our Car was due July 12th, we were told a week prior it would be there early on the 9th, and after several weeks of being told “we wish we knew” where the car was we finally got it in August. Sales Manager Joe Malinowski was especially terrible threatening me via text message to cancel my order because I spoke to him about my frustration on the delayed order. He claimed to be as upset as I was because the dealership “has no control or idea” when the cars will actually arrive. When I asked to speak about it in person with Joe at the dealership because at this point all we wanted was our car he sent his sales rep to cover for him and sat in his corner office avoiding me. For the record that sales rep was awesome but clearly in a terribly uncomfortable position. Just moved from out of state to Oconomowoc and wanted to buy local and very unfortunate experience at Ewald. More
Do NOT go to Ewald. We took my husband's car in for a misfire on multiple cylinders on 4/16/21. They said that the car needed a tune up, new spark plugs, wires, etc for 1350.00. We agreed. Days later misfire on multiple cylinders on 4/16/21. They said that the car needed a tune up, new spark plugs, wires, etc for 1350.00. We agreed. Days later car is still not fixed. We were told that because the car had sat unused for 5 months the gas had gone bad and that it had ruined the fuel injectors, so they needed to be replaced. How can gas go bad over 5 months? Ok...so we agreed to another 900.00. Now two weeks later, we were told that the car has a bad cylinder and needs a new engine. What? The 2000.00 repair did not work. I said we won't pay because you can't fix it, and the car can't even be driven. The service person said they would talk to their service manager to see if we would have to pay. The service manager said that he didn't care that the repairs did not work, we still had to pay the 2000.00 for a car that can't be driven....BUT they were willing to roll that 2000.00 into a loan for a new car?? Are you kidding me?? You bilk us out of 2000.00 and think that we would want to buy a new car from you?? Horrible customer service! We've been screwed over by them. They should've told us 10 days ago they didn't know what was wrong with the car or how to fix it and just let us tow it somewhere else. STAY AWAY! More
