It's always a pleasure -- and fun to go to Ertle Subaru! We've brought 4 or 5 (?) Subarus down through the years, and have enjoyed both the cars and visiting their spotless and up-to-date facilities. We are always greeted by name, and we feel like part of the Ertle Subaru Family. Indeed, they treat us like family, and take great pains to see to it we're satisfied with their service. In a word, we enjoy going there, and look forward to it. Their expertise with both sales and maintenance is unsurpassed. Thanks, all you guys down there for your years of taking such good care of us, well, our Subarus!!!! More

Service department I recently took my car to the service department for service due to check engine light was on. I brought it in on a Saturday and was told I would be I recently took my car to the service department for service due to check engine light was on. I brought it in on a Saturday and was told I would be called by the end of the day to advise me what needed to be done. They diagnosed the problem to my satisfaction, however, no one called me by the end of day like I was promised. I left my car there until Monday. No call was received by close of business Monday. I had to call back Tuesday and finally was given a service quote. I contacted the department numerous times on Tuesday and was told my service rep was busy and didn't return my call until later in the day. I got the service manager that day and was told I couldn't get an estimate because a service rep is handling and had to wait until she called me back. The day I picked it up I advised the service department I couldn't do the job to finances. When I picked it up, they gave me the key and I had to walk and look over the entire lot to get me car. No one brought it to the front. I paid for the diagnostic test and left with my car. Your service department's customer service is fair at best. More
Great fast service I had to wait two weeks for an appointment but it was worth it. My appointment was on Sa. at 10 AM. Poor customer service The process is much fragmented. If you pick up a loaner the day before, and the customer rep is not there, you do not have the service rep's contact i The process is much fragmented. If you pick up a loaner the day before, and the customer rep is not there, you do not have the service rep's contact information. When you call the next day to get the status of the car, the service rep picking up calls cannot tell you anything about your car unless you telll her your service rep's name. Seems to me there should be a way to locate the service rep assigned to a customer's car without having the customer "know" who it is. All the customer needs to know is the car they drop off, i.e. Subaru Impreza. Can't quite put a finger on it, but something is not right about the process. As well, when you get a loaner, the person taking the call is quite rude about informing you "when" your car will be ready. The standard response is "because you are getting a loaner (meaning we are doing you a BIG favor and saving you LOADS of money) we cannot guarantee when your car will be ready. It may be the next day, or may be more. You will get a call when it is ready." Again, something is not quite right about the process. I brought in my car for 3 recalls in January. As well, my car inspection is due in January. I forgot to mention to do the car inspection when I bring in the car for the recalls. When I call back and ask why they did not remind me to do the inspection, the standard response is "we do not remind customers of inspections. period." Probably because it is "free"? Again, the service attitude is not pro-customer. It is penny wise pound foolish! More
Recall and wheel checks After changing out all 4 factory tires at 21k miles, due to severe inner tread wear on front tires, car made strange throbbing or humming noise. Called in for recheck, and earliest schedule date was over a month in advance. 3 factory recall notices came due in that time frame, so had those done. Service was prompt, courtesy car was furnished. When picking up car, all work was done on warranty. Explanation and fix of tire noise was "bad bearing replaced, right front wheel". Car is a late 2018 Crosstrek with 22k miles, and it has cost us all new tires already! More

DID NOT RECEIVE TIRE ROTATION I was scheduled for oil change and TIRE ROTATION. I marked one tire before my visit. The ROTATION was not done. I presume the oil was CHANGED!
