It is truly commendable that the sales department at your automobile dealership has been performing exceptionally well, indicating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction in that particular area. However, there seems to be a significant disparity between the sales department's performance and that of the service department, which urgently requires substantial improvement. In instances where the service department encounters discontented customers, instead of exhibiting a proactive approach to understanding and resolving the underlying issues, the service manager has shown a defensive demeanor. This behavior unfortunately shifts the focus away from the actual problems and instead, unduly places blame on the customer, which is counterproductive to achieving a resolution. A particularly concerning occurrence pertains to a situation in which I had to return my car to the service department multiple times due to an unresolved issue. Despite bringing in my vehicle on three separate occasions for the same matter, the service department failed to rectify the problem. This not only led to a waste of my valuable time and resources but also resulted in an understandably negative rating in a Toyota survey that was sent to me post-service. Subsequent to expressing my dissatisfaction via the survey, it was distressing to experience an aggressive response from the service manager. Instead of acknowledging the repeated instances of an unresolved issue and utilizing the feedback as a means to improve, the service manager became confrontational. This type of interaction is highly unprofessional and does not inspire confidence in the service department's ability to prioritize customer satisfaction. In light of the service department's ineffectiveness and the unpleasant encounter with the service manager, I must recommend against opting for this particular service center. It is my sincere hope that this input serves as a catalyst for introspection and subsequent changes within the service department, ensuring a better overall experience for future customers. More
The sale was great but the service after the sale was awful. Everyone in the service department that I’ve dealt with has really lacked any understanding about customer service and a few have been actual awful. I thought this was a small Dealership with a family feeling. I guess not. Wrong parts ordered. It took three trips to get the window wipers replaced. Why?? A new back up camera installed but not calibrated before we drove an hour to pick it up. They did give us a rental car for the night, which needed air in the tire, twice, in 24 hours. Not one apology plus two unhappy customers and three trips for service. One emailed complaint to the service manager who touts contact me with any issues big or small. One defensive email back to me from the service manager, though I’m not sure there is a lot of managing happening there, plus one surly technician. Add in an unhappy service advisor and an uncomfortable waiting area. One plus is that they have great popcorn. So that’s a negative 10. More
My experience of going and picking up my vehicle was terrible. It wasn’t cleaned and the smell of cigarettes was horrible. When I got there the 2nd time I had to wait 45 minutes for them to check why tire light was on and to go and fill the vehicle up with gas after they told me these things would be done. Very bad service. More

I'm a 64 year old woman, I shopped without my husband, I knew what I wanted and they took me seriuosly. They were kind and respectful, they were NEVER condescending, like the "other dealership" in Saco, Ma knew what I wanted and they took me seriuosly. They were kind and respectful, they were NEVER condescending, like the "other dealership" in Saco, Maine, which is closer to where I live. Bruce Cox was my salesman, he was awesome. I will recommend Emerson to everyone! It really makes a huge difference where you buy! I love my 4 runner, Thank you Bruce for a wonderful car buying experience! It's worth the drive to Auburn! More
