Thank you for reaching out and expressing your concerns. I apologize this new policy will cause you to never return. Credit card processing fees have become a customary charge that is passed on to customers who use credit cards to purchase items across all industries. Our state Legislation passed this bill so that it would help businesses absorb these fees that the credit card companies charge the business establishments. We do offer multiple options to pay that would not have you incur these charges- ex) cash, debit card or check. However if a credit card is used, we charge the 3% fee that the credit card companies and card processing company charges us. Legally we cannot mark this up so we just pass this charge along to the customer. If you would like to discuss further, please reach out to me at 985-801-1609 as we appreciate your business and would love to continue servicing your vehicle in the future.
