Everyone at Ed Martin Acura was extremely helpful in finding a car that fit me. My salesman Karen was an immense help in answering all of my questions, and making everything a seemless process for my fi finding a car that fit me. Made an appointment a month in advance to secure a loaner vehicle because I had to drive 1 1/2 hour for service. Explained my list of concerns to the person making my appointment. I arrived 1 hour early on vehicle because I had to drive 1 1/2 hour for service. Explained my list of concerns to the person making my appointment. I arrived 1 hour early only to find out they had no loaner vehicles. I called a local friend to pick me up and go to lunch and explained the service advisor of my intentions. Upon my return from lunch, approximately 2 hours later, I was told they had not turned in my service ticket because a loaner had not arrived yet. I was not happy and asked for the general manager and was informed he was out for the day. I was taken to the service manager who listened, but really did not show any empathy for my problem. I had hoped they would have at least have done my oil service and communicated that they would at least prioritize my other concerns to what could be accomplished that afternoon before I left. I had to ask for them to at least do a oil change for me before I left. They instead acted like my service was not of any priority. Upon arriving home I sent the General Manager Jason Mattaliano a email explaining the situation and have received no response from him. The next day I did received a phone call from the Customer Satisfaction employee and explained that I felt the service was very subpar and I had emailed the GM. She told me she would send her email address to me so I could forward the letter to her. I have yet to receive her email address. There was really no service at this dealership or communication. More
Overall very excellent, Time taken was not great, but it was a busy Saturday so entirely understandable. Busy but worth the wait. We weren’t really familiar with the Acura MDX. Karen made sure we were able to test drive the vehicle we were interested in. She took the time to answer our questions and explaining the features of the vehicle. She was positive, no negative comments about other vehicles we had commented on and were interested in. She focused on highlighting the superior qualities of the Acura MDX, and we were able to draw our own conclusion that, for us, the other options were inferior compared to the price of the vehicle. it was also a team effort; as Jake and Elizabeth stayed later than close, along with Karen, as we made our final decision. Buying a used car at Ed Martin was so easy. Will Fitzsimmons and all personnel there made it easy. I felt like I was there, just talking with friends.
