Salesman Cussed at me in the Parking lot I am a school teacher. I had a sweet kid a few years back and her father is a salesman at Eckert Hyundai in Corinth. I had bought a car there before, so I went in and requested him to help me in purchasing my 2nd Hyundai. They did not have the color car I wanted. Though they tried to sale me a car on the lot, I held out. I was very specific about the exterior and interior color. They ordered it for me and told me it would take a few weeks. This turned into 2 1/2 months. I was willing to wait because I really wanted the right color. I went in on Feb.14th and I could not believe the interior color was not what I had ordered. I was incredibly upset. The first salesman tried to convince me that the interior was in fact gray . It was clearly tan. He argued with me for a bit and then I asked him to show me a tan interior. (In the mean time my salesman, Tommy Barham, who was at the other lot was on his way over to meet me.) When the salesman opened the car and said "This is the tan interior." I told him it was the same interior as the new car that had been ordered for me. He then went back and looked in the car I had ordered and... low and behold it was the same color! Right then Tommy pulled up and got out of his car yelling at me telling me the car I had ordered does not come in a gray interior. He was furious. I argued back that I had been incredibly clear the day I came in. My best friend was with me and she agreed that I had ordered a gray interior. He told me if I did not like to "just get out of there." We continued to argue and people on the lot were staring . He was in my personal space. (BTW I am woman) I told him I was done and that I would not continue to let him address me that way .He was so unbelievably angry and was in my face in a threatening manner. I got in my car called to my friend to get in the car (told her we were leaving) as she got in the car the salesman walked away still yelling and said ""blank" YOU! Get out of here!" You can figure out what word to put in the blank. I cant believe he used this language with a customer and someone who was so good to his child. I also question why he was so angry at a customer regarding the wrong interior color. This is scary. It would make sense that he customer be angry, but the salesman? I called back and asked to speak to the owner. I ended up speaking to my salesman's brother who told me he was sorry and agreed it was unprofessional and that my salesman has personal problems, but admitted that was not an excuse to say that to a customer. I have yet to receive a return phone call from the owner. I went to Huffines Hyundai, explained what had transpired and bought my car with a gray interior! They were astounded, and gave me a great deal. Don't go to Eckert Hyundai. This is not okay. More

He went above and beyond in helping us find a car that fit into our budget. Also, John never made my wife and I feel pressured or uncomfortable. Next, was James in financing. ( Go to Eckert and find out why James is so great to deal with) He did everthing possible to get us into the car we wanted and at the monthly payment we needed to be at. Also, I was never pressured to add options I didnt want or given the bait and switch tactics that so many dealers try to pull over on us car buyers to make more money. If you are looking to buy a Hyundai, buy from Eckert and find out how a car buying experience should be. Honest, fair and no pressure. The Deal Family. More

I had to take the car back to get the window tenting replaced . They were supposed to replace tent on two windows and only done one. I told them that when my AC was on the entire car shook to the point that is made a loud rattling noise. They tell me nothing is wrong there. Then, granted I should have paid better attention to the tires when I bought it, but less than one month after purchasing the vehicle the side blew out of one of my tires. I got to looking and all four tires were different brands, and the one that the side blew out of was cracked and weathered terribly . This did not take place in the one month I had the car. I tried to speak to the dealership regarding the tires and was told they would not replace it because by there own inspection at the dealer my tires were fine when I left the lot. This might be acceptable to me if I was purchasing off a tote the note lot but for what I paid for this vehicle this is completely unacceptable!!!!!!!! OUTRAGED!!!!!!!!!!!! More

Joe Becker is a class guy who is genuinely interested in helping his customer. Clearly, this dealer has made a commitment to excellence and it shows in the people they hire. The Santa Fe Sport is a great SUV....great look, great drive and the price at Eckert was very good. No gimmicks!!! Thank you!!! More
Nicest people you will ever buy a car from I am about to buy my third car from Eckert Hyundai, and specifically have been working with Stan Becker. All of the salespeople and staff are nice, friendly, and helpful at Eckert, but I love working with Stan. We have shopped for cars at other dealerships and were giving the stereotypical shakedown that is commonly associated with the car buying experience. That is not what you get at Eckert! I was able to get the car I wanted with the options I wanted at a price that worked for me, with a lower interest rate than I came in with! Great combination for an excellent car buying experience!! Eckert Hyundai in Denton, TX is a family owned and operated business. You can feel the ‘small dealership with honest owner’ culture just by walking through their doors. After working with Pat Lobb Toyota of Mckinney (we thought we had a better deal - please see review under unsatisfiedcustomer555), we were THRILLED to meet Bob Delmark. We briefly explained what occurred with Toyota and without hesitation he started working on a deal with/for us. He had a few direct questions with explanations which made it safe for us to answer candidly. Bob not only patiently explained everything we needed to know to feel comfortable with making a purchase with them but he also never once had to say “to be honest with you” or “we are an honest company” or “we are trying to change the business culture”. He demonstrated his honesty by remaining transparent. Actions speak much louder than words. We did not feel pressured which also made us feel very comfortable and EXCITED about buying a NEW car! After our time with Bob, he introduced us to the finance manager to seal the deal. He too was fantastic. He laid out our options, and again, ZERO pressure. Without us even having to ask or inquire, he found us an AMAZING rate! We were beyond impressed. We felt heard! We left the dealership feeling like we had just spent a million dollars. My family kept saying that they felt that their time and money was valued. We all work hard for what we bring home each day so to receive customer service like this makes you feel VIP. What we valued most about our experience was just how transparent and consistent the staff was. There was no haggling and/or annoying back and forth talk. I had already done research on the car we were interested in so for their first offer to literally be what we wanted to hear was comforting. They watched out for our pocket while making their profit. Honest business can be done. We purchased our car 2 weeks ago – and have literally told everyone we know. We have spoken so highly of this dealership that so many people have wanted to know more information because they are tired of the old shady ways of the car business. I am certain that if you go with Bob at Hyundai, you will not be disappointed! More
