EchoPark Automotive Plano

Went in to buy a car on Thursday. We agreed on the price and trade-in value. My credit rating was 840 and they offered me 6% interest and I told them I could get 2% from my credit union but they said I had and trade-in value. My credit rating was 840 and they offered me 6% interest and I told them I could get 2% from my credit union but they said I had to choose one of their lenders. I assume the loan profit is split with Echo Park. Then they added in a service plan without asking me. I told them I did not want the service plan. I was willing to pay TTL plus their $297 fee and that was it. They would not sell me the car with just TTL and I could not use my credit union to finance. I left around 6:15. After I got back home, I ran the numbers again and things didn't add up. I texted my sales person and asked him to re-run the numbers and we found out that they added the service plan back in. I proposed an offer of the internet asking price + TTL + their $300 fee - trade-in they offered the first time. No haggling on anything and agreed to 6% interest. Sales person said they are working on it. At 8:45, I received a text that said they agreed. Keep in mind they close at 8:00. They asked me to come in Friday morning when they opened and complete the paper work. I was early and the only customer. They once again tried to push the service package on me. I refused. after an hour of them doing all of the paperwork...guess what...they informed me they already sold the car and wanted to sell me another one. They sold the car after they closed but before they opened the next day. I did not buy a car. Beware!!!!!! My sales person was Parker. I believe he tried to make everything work. The problem lies behind the closed doors. More
