Overall a good experience. This was my first time buying a car and financing a car and I was extremely happy with the excellent interest rate they were able to get me. My salesman Javier and everyone else I a car and financing a car and I was extremely happy with the excellent interest rate they were able to get me. My salesman Javier and everyone else I spoke to were very friendly at all times and accommodating to my needs. They also weren't overly pushy - the sales manager Brian, for instance, is in a position that usually is the pushiest of them all but he never once came over and tried to get me to close that day. Even when I came back for a second test drive (a pretty good indication I was looking to close soon) he told me to take three or four if I wanted. BUT, my biggest complaint about the experience was the fees that were added on in addition to the price of the car. Tags, taxes, titles, and a dealer processing fee are all standard charges that I have no problem with, but Carbiz also tack on an additional $650+ destination charge to all their vehicles, essentially making the internet price artificially low and turning what looks like a good deal into an average one. A destination charge for used vehicles is pretty absurd, even if they do indeed ship in some of their used vehicles from elsewhere. So in my opinion that's not a good business practice at all, but with that said it's not like it was necessarily a bad deal. Just no where near as good as I thought it would be. More

He DIDN'T try to sell me a car that I didn't want so that he could make more money. As we all know there are some salesmen that will try and put you in a car that they know you can't afford so there commission is higher. Not Kelvin, he asked me what I was looking for and what I could afford to pay a month. In a matter of minutes we found a car and before I knew it he was telling me that I was approved at the monthly payments that we had discussed that I could afford. My last car buying experience had me leaving with more questions than answers, but this time I left feeling 100% satisfied and question free. Kelvin even helped me find affordable insurance. I would definitely recommend Carbiz to my friends and family, and I'll tell them to ask for Kelvin Burston!!! More

Ok I decided that I wanted a Cadillac CTS for my upcoming birthday, I did my research and decided on a 2007 CTS at this dealer. The price was right, well within my spending budget. Fortunately I had already been approved through USAA. I arrived on the lot and Matt already had the car waiting for me to look at and drive. Upon seeing the car I realized the reasons for the discount were minor cosmetic issues. The price was still a good price and I wasn't ready to haggle for that, and I did not have to haggle to get the minor items corrected. As a matter of fact Matt went well beyond my expectations and got the vehicle groomed to my satisfaction. Their finance director Myron had all of my paperwork prepared and all the numbers matched. Plus they were able to provide me with the comprehensive repair coverage well below other estimates I received. To top it all off while I was on the lot 3 people who I know and have worked with spanning over 25 years also showed up to purchase vehicles, now that is just good Karma. I plan to purchase again from this dealer on my next vehicle and recommend them highly for their selection, quality and prices. More
