I purchased a certified used 2011 F150 at Duval Ford in June 2013. Had a 795 credit rating. The truck had been smoked in and I asked that the smell be taken care of and the cabin air filter changed. Was to June 2013. Had a 795 credit rating. The truck had been smoked in and I asked that the smell be taken care of and the cabin air filter changed. Was told by Larry that the filter was changed. Guess what, the F150 doesn't have a cabin air filter. They claimed my tag was expiring too soon to transfer it to the new truck and issued me a 30 day temp tag. Twenty days later, still no permanent tag. Went to DMV and was told there was still a lean from the previous owner's loan. Two days later I went to Duval Ford and it took them two minutes to transfer my old plate to the truck (the lean had been paid). Six weeks after I bought the truck, Mariah from Duval Ford called me and claimed they had certified the truck while the only employee who could do so was on vacation. They said I had to come back and redo the entire contract, dated in August with updated mileage, in case Ford audited them so they wouldn't get in trouble. Really? Maybe its because you sold a truck you didn't have clear title to, which is illegal in Florida, and you are trying to cover your tracks. Went back to discuss this and was left waiting in the lobby while the clueless employees tried to figure out what was going on. Were told by the guy who did the original contract that rewriting the loan was for THEIR benefit only. Why do I think if I asked them to rewrite the loan, they would tell me to pound sand? We refused to rewrite the contract, which is still binding, and will not return to Duval Ford, even for service. Avoid them like the plague. More

All thought we shopped around and were approved at another dealership we came back to Duval Ford because of the honesty of the salesman. He was willing to answer our questions even thought we hadn't even been in to look at a car. We are glad we made the hour and a half trip,my daughter now has a reliable car and for the first time that I have ever experienced with any dealership ,we asked for payments within a certain range and the payment was actually lower,every dealership I have ever dealt with the always make your payments more than what you want,not Duval Ford and thanks to Rafael showing us what she could afford and taking the time to find something she liked .
