Bad Situation Turned Good I have to be honest, no car buying experience is wonderful lol! You spend a good part of the day buying a car, having said that...Bob Sturgis is the I have to be honest, no car buying experience is wonderful lol! You spend a good part of the day buying a car, having said that...Bob Sturgis is the man!!! In the beginning it seemed unorganized at the receptionist desk, that's a result of having a staff of five behind the desk. Having an appointment doesn't make it better, however, when I was about to leave...help arrived! The experience took a left turn when the Internet price was $1k less than actual price unless you finance through the Kia. Next, there was the fast talking deal maker trying to get me to abandon the pre-qualified financing through Capital One for a better rate...the gotcha gotcha was the pre-qualification left me vulnerable. A lot of time was spent being "educated" by the fast talking deal closer lol! So does the "as is" notice, Dutch Miller sells Kia and the car should have been ready for sale. High-level issues: Blind Spot Detection did not work Rough ride at highway speed, supposedly an alignment was done Navigation SDS card was missing Seat pocket missing behind the driver seat I returned the car for a swap, better vehicle, etc...now the dealership points out the "as is" and will only fix the previously agreed upon navigation lol! Additionally, the financing in place limited the cars that were comparable, the stuck feeling hit me like a ton of bricks. I remained extremely calm. In the end it all worked out and I drove off in a car. Silver lining...Bob Sturgis was nothing but professional and offered to repair the windshield, thanks Bob!!! What a awesome easter! So after filling out online credit app. I get a call telling me that i am aproved for a used car and that because of it being easter they are having a So after filling out online credit app. I get a call telling me that i am aproved for a used car and that because of it being easter they are having a special no money down. After asking atleast 10 times if they were serious, i finally said i have 3 kids and easter is tomorrow my car is over heatimg and i live over a hour away if push this car and make it there will i be leaving in a car . i was told yes. They would put me in a car. So after packin kids into my over heating, oil burning car i get there to be told they didnt even have my application any more and that i would get that offer unless i qualified..... Push comes to shove i wasnt qualified and not one person.even tried to help me out in geting a ride. I spent all my childrens easter money on getting home from charlotte thank you guys so much for your supid lies. My family really appreciates it so much. I should have knew better than no moey down. But you shouldnt be directing people. To tell someone these lies if you arent going to stand by your words either!over all this has been a terrible experience and i wish that i would have went with my gut feeling that i was being lied to. More
