At this time I also saw a used van online and checked it out. The following day I heard from Donivan Sledd and set up an appointment for Fri 3/13. Being I had yet to hear back on recall info for current vehicle I called and spoke with Duncan Ford Service. As of today 3/18 I still have not heard back from Duncan Ford Service. BUT Donivan worked diligently with me on Fri when I arrived to look at the used van. Within a few hours I was the owner of a Dodge Caravan. I can honestly say the only two reasons I purchased my van is the special price and the wonderful customer service of Donivan. I commented to him while at the dealership that I was surprised by the lack of friendliness of the employees. I was only acknowledged by a nice woman, Joanne (?) in Sales and Shawn in Finance (only because of paperwork). SO this being said, THANK YOU Donivan for your patience and kindness!! More

On the visit, the model, options, and color we wanted were in the showroom but he also had said we could get what we wanted in 24-48 hrs. We got $4,000 off listed price putting it below my top price. Our trade in deal was exceptional and $2-3,000 what we had noted on Kelly blue book dealer trade-in ranges. Service and friendliness at the upper range along with professionalism. Thanks Don Dame and Duncan Mazda! Financing was also as we had expected. More

He also exhibited a compassionate, empathetic approach to the disabled (I am one). The common approach to folks like me is to patronize and condescend. Admirably, Steve interacted with me, instead, as a fellow human being; certainly he could see my affliction and hear it in my voice and sense it in my slowed thinking and tangled movement, yet he approached me as a man who was buying a car, like any man, one with an ordinary need to make a significant purchase. He certainly gained my respect, and his behavior speaks as highly for Duncan as his employer as it does for himself and the manner in which he was raised. In other words, a gentleman. He was, and is, a pleasure to work with. I recommend him to anyone interested in buying a car, for he's honest, forthright, and above all, REAL. I worked as well with the equally gentlemanly Justin Lane in Finance, who carefully and accurately delineated the terms of my purchase, and whose expertise was matched by his personal warmth and graciousness. Lastly, Ben King, in Service, was called upon to answer a thorny question about tire size and my vehicle model. After a few minutes of research, he responded with the proper answer, and in the down-to-earth manner that I've always found so ingratiating in him. These three men made an anxious and chronically in pain customer as comfortable and welcome as he's ever been. Duncan does a lot of things right. More

Horrible Experience This was my first time dealing with Duncan, and I can easily say it was also my last time. After making an appointment to deal with a specified dea This was my first time dealing with Duncan, and I can easily say it was also my last time. After making an appointment to deal with a specified dealer, I get jockeyed around until I ultimately landed with a sales person who looked like he was the night janitor. Very unprofessional attire, as well as attitude. I was given the rush act. Donivan showed me a price, pretty much said take it or leave it. His body language and tone displayed that he could care less to deal with me on the car. He was more interested in going home as he once said, and I quote "I'm so tired. I'm ready for this day to end so that I can get out of here and go home." I was shocked by that response. It made me feel as though I wasn't good enough to deal with as a customer. If this is the kind of people that Duncan employees, then I look for the doors to be closed in a few months for them, because this is very very poor business. Thankfully, because of this business, I went elsewhere and found the vehicle I initially wanted from Duncan for a much better price and MUCH friendlier staff. More

Terrible Experience - won't go back We purchased a new vehicle in Nov 2015 and were pleased with the experience. But our experience with Brent in the service department was poor. The hea We purchased a new vehicle in Nov 2015 and were pleased with the experience. But our experience with Brent in the service department was poor. The headlights were not adjusted properly on our vehicle when we purchased it, and we requested that it be corrected. The service department then set it at the highest setting and it was blinding oncoming vehicles and other vehicles were flashing at us and putting their high beams on behind us. We told Brent of the problem and asked that it be corrected. We were told that it was within specs and that we would have to pay to have them fix it. After a lengthy discussion, he agreed that they would readjust the headlights. When we drove the car home, it was apparent that they had then lowered the beams back down to an unacceptable low position (we felt they were even lower than when we first took it in) making it very hard to see and putting the lives of my family at risk. We have given up working with Brent to resolve the problem and will fix it ourselves. I would never go back as long as Brent is the service manager. More
