I’m writing to share my recent experience with the service department at Downtown Ford, which left me concerned about their diagnostic practices and customer care. I brought in my Ford F-150 due to service department at Downtown Ford, which left me concerned about their diagnostic practices and customer care. I brought in my Ford F-150 due to a check engine light and explained that the issue felt very similar to a problem I had several years ago, which had been resolved by replacing a fuel injector. After their inspection, they diagnosed a faulty fuel pressure sensor and quoted me a high price to replace it. Something didn’t feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion. The second mechanic quickly determined that the issue was indeed the fuel injector — exactly what I had originally mentioned. They fixed it promptly and at a much lower cost than what Downtown Ford was charging for the incorrect repair. I’m relieved I trusted my instincts and avoided unnecessary repairs and expenses. However, this situation could have easily cost me hundreds of dollars for a fix that wouldn’t have addressed the real problem. I believe customers should be able to trust that a certified dealership service center will conduct accurate diagnostics and take customer input seriously. I’m sharing this to help others who may be considering Downtown Ford for repairs. Always get a second opinion if something doesn’t seem right. I also hope this feedback encourages the dealership to improve diagnostic accuracy and communication with customers. More
Sales staff was good however they reviewed my trade in and tried to low ball me because the hood was out of alignment, that’s 10 minutes and a wrench to fix, missing head rest, which was in the trunk and and tried to low ball me because the hood was out of alignment, that’s 10 minutes and a wrench to fix, missing head rest, which was in the trunk and some paint on vendor that needed buffed out, maybe 30 minutes with a buffer would fix. I almost left, petty little stuff was all they could find. Meanwhile they only had one key for the new vehicle which is a significant cost to replace and it wasn’t disclosed until after the sale and it was like. Sorry can’t help you. More

My salesman was good, however the communication about everything with everyone else has been poor to say the least. Took about a week to get my warranty cancelled because the finance manager wasn’t in I everything with everyone else has been poor to say the least. Worst of all is I was sold a LoJak for $995 and when I got home and downloaded the app it shows it’s not installed. I notify the manager and was told I would hear something real soon from the installer to come to me for the “repair” I sent many screenshots proving this isn’t even installed and at this point don’t even want it and would like a refund for feeling like I been robbed and nothing but run a round. I bought my vehicle 10/6 and not an update about it. I want my money back for a product that’s never been installed and have been lied to about. Also was given a “due bill” with some dents that are suppose to be taken care of by the dealer and I have not heard a word about. Keep in mind I am about 70 miles one way and had to go pick up the 2nd key that was not given to me or found on the day of purchase. Extremely frustrating will not recommend. More
