Excellent service! I have been visiting Esserman International Mall when I had my Kia Sportage and now with my VW Tiguan and the experience hash always been positive. They really take care of their customers and you always get full explanations of what is being done to your vehicle in advance and the explanations are clear with nothing hidden. I've really come to trust them. This location is farther than my dealer location, but I'd rather driver the distance just for the excellent service. More

Terrible Experience I was at the dealership last Thursday and purchased a vehicle for the first time. I went into the dealership clueless because I've never purchased a car before, expecting to be helped out. When I got home, I reviewed the contract and realized that I didn’t get the terms I thought I did and unfortunately I wont be able to afford the vehicle. I went back this morning and tried to return the vehicle. I spoke to a gentlemen in finance who had helped me out the day I got the car and was told that the only option I have would be to sell the car back to the dealership or trade it in but I wont get down payment back. I let them know that I lost my job yesterday as well and it would be impossible for me to afford the car. I asked to speak with the general manager and a gentlemen named Sergio Yanoco lied and said he was the GM, then told me that there is absolutely nothing they can do for me. I had no other choice but to leave the car in the lot and give my keys to them. I am extremely upset and cannot express enough how terrible customer service was. More

Very poor salesmanship Originally I purchased a VW and leased another and was satisfied with the vehicles. There were many aspects of the cars that I liked. So when the leased was up I returned to them thinking I could deal with the same salesperson Darrell Sheftall. I called him and told him as much. He referred me to Gabino Perez and I met them both along with my daughter ready to drive away again with two new vehicles. Then the nightmare began. The games went on for almost four hours during which time we were subjected to a cold cubicle while the "let me run it through the boss games" and "let me inspect your vehicle" routine dragged on. I had barely driven the vehicle I was trading in (about 6000 miles a year) and it was a VW in excellent conditions. I thought I would get a decent offer instead I got accused of having been involved in accidents that never occurred. My car had been involved in ONE minor accident and Mr. Perez insisted car facts showed it had been involved in several accidents and consequently he needed to greatly reduced the value. After hours of games I asked him why I couldn't lease my daughter a car for the monthly payments they advertised and straight to my face he told me "we only advertise that price to get people to come in". When I finally got up and said I needed to think things over his response was to just get something to eat somewhere and return the same night or else all the numbers will change. Confirming to me they were keenly aware they had kept us there for hours in a cold environment and without food trying to wear us down. His competition was like night and day. Not only did they not pretend my car had been involved in more accidents then it actually had, they also provided a quick considerate transaction which netted them a loyal customer and a sale of two vehicles. I did find some added expenses in the final paperwork which had not been discussed but once I pointed it out it was promptly corrected. Sorry Esserman International you have chosen to conduct your business this way. I was tricked into wasting several ours enduring psychological games but this cost you what would have been a good returning customer for life. More
