I purchased a used Toyota Tundra 1794 edition truck. Advertised as a perfect one owner truck with zero issues. When the deal was done the salesmen said I’m gonna go fill up the tank and make sure the tr Advertised as a perfect one owner truck with zero issues. When the deal was done the salesmen said I’m gonna go fill up the tank and make sure the truck is ready to go. A few minutes later the truck was parked out front and they handed me the keys. I walked out hopped into the truck and noticed a 1/8 tank of gas?? So he didn’t fill it up. No big deal I don’t need them to buy my gas just thought it was funny they said that’s what they took the truck back for then came back almost empty. Then as I was driving my 200+ mile trip home I started checking out the features and realized the sunroof didn’t work. So I called them back and asked Greg about it and he said “that’s not good and we can fix it, but he needed to talk to his manager and I’ll have him call you back” so I waited a few days and didn’t hear back. I called again a few days later and talked to a woman in service and she told me she would remind them of the issue and have a manager call me back. Again never got a call back. I diagnosed the issue as a bad sunroof motor and got quoted $600 to replace it. Honestly times are tough right now so I’m planning on fixing it in the future when I can afford it. Also decided to no longer do business with this dealer. After you purchase a vehicle from them you are on your own. They will ignore you if you call! Well that’s it. Honestly other than that the truck is great so I’ll suck it up and move on. Just want to warn future customers so they don’t have to be ignored if there is a problem. Greg the salesman seemed sincere about the issue I get the feeling once he let management know of the issue it died there. Gave 3 stars for Greg because of the weird situation with him going to fill up the gas tank and coming back almost empty??? It’s almost comical. Service department was reasonably quick and friendly and professional staff, communicated well with services required and assured that all the 100000 mile maintenance requirements were in good order.
