The long story: The last dealership that I had taken my 2005 Honda Accord to was Buena Park Honda. I had a miserable experience with them, feeling cheated and lied to. After that encounter with Buena Park Honda, I checked (and added to) the reviews online to find out that I was not the only one who felt that way. I will never work with Buena Park Honda service department again. I needed 3 recalls taken care of, as well as an air conditioning problem assessed and fixed. I checked reviews for the next three closest dealerships, community Honda in Whittier, Hardin Honda in Anaheim, and Diamond Honda. While all three dealerships have their positive and negative reviews concerning the service department, it seemed as though diamond Honda had the least negative reviews and I decided to give them a call. I had a little trouble at first getting through to the service department, getting disconnected from their phone system twice and having someone take a message and promise to call me back on the 3rd try. However, I did receive a call back within 30 minutes from a nice and helpful young lady named Lily. The service department was still extremely busy so Lily, from the parts department, was helping them out and returning my call. It was no fault of hers that the issues I wanted to discuss slightly overwhelmed her, however she listened vehemently, took notes, and immediately connected me with a service advisor, Frank. Frank was the ideal customer service person from start to finish. I warned him right from the start that I could be a difficult customer to deal with, but he took on the challenge to meet and exceed my expectations. I explained to him my previous experience with Buena Park Honda, he listened patiently. I explained that I had read the online reviews for diamond Honda service department and that I had some reservations about doing business with him. Frank informed me that he also stays up to date on the reviews, and told me about changes that have happened within the dealership over the last several months that have led to better customer service for all of the dealership's customers. By talking with me openly, he alleviated a lot of my concerns, and built within me the trust I needed to feel before I would do business with them. Our conversation told me that Frank was not the average employee that shows up everyday only for the paycheck, but rather a committed and dedicated part of Diamond Honda's Team. I felt right away that he is committed to giving each customer the absolute very best service and attention, knowing that doing so is not only in the best interest of the customer, but in the best interest of the organization as a whole. Despite undoubtedly being very busy, he took the time to hear me out, alleviate my concerns, and build my trust. I set the appointment with him over the phone immediately, and dropped my car off after hours that night. The next day, the course of my work took me near the dealership, & I unexpectedly stopped in to say hi and see how my car was doing. Originally I was told that only two of the three recall that I needed to have fixed could be done, because parts were on backorder for the third. When I arrived at the dealership and met Frank face to face, he had great news to give me, he had pulled some strings and was able to get the missing part for the third recall. I was more than surprised and excited to find that all of the work would be completed in one visit and that I would not have to make a follow up visit after all. Although I thought we had discussed everything when I stopped by, Frank called me twice more, once with a status update, and again to confirm that my car was complete and ready for pick up. I can never complain about thoroughness and follow through. Picking up my car later that day was simple, easy and fast. No lines, no mess, no fuss. All three recalls were fixed. Likewise, my air-conditioning problem was resolved for much less money than I had expected. This I attribute to the experience and knowledge of both Frank and his technicians, being able to find and fix what ended up being a really simple problem with the air conditioning. In conclusion: my dealings with Diamond Honda's service department and with Service Advisor Frank left me feeling satisfied, grateful, and confident with them and the work they performed on my car. My 2005 Honda is getting old and this positive experience with Diamond Honda's service department has convinced me to also give their car buying experience a try as soon as I'm ready to do so. More
Great Car and Customer Service I have been going to Diamond Honda (Puente Hills) for all my Honda S2000 service needs. I had my first S2000 checked here before I bought it and was amazed at the thoroughness of their inspection. They went out of their way to let me know what I was buying. Ever since then I have been getting my service done here and the people here have always been kind and professional. I went away for a bit and came back for service and saw new people but the service was just as the same - kind and professional. One important thing to note is that this is a business but they are fair and have gone out of their multiple times to save me money. On top of that they are engaging to their customers and try to get to know them. I dealt with Frank Camargo and another person who took care of my car needs. I also do not do reviews and forgot all about this but they deserve this review and that is why I am doing it. The training that they receive for customer service is outstanding! More

Terrible service! 1)Waited 25 minutes for a service writer. 2)Kept calling me Gabriel. Bad experience overall I brought my Accord in for inspection due to theft. I specifically asked the first rep that I had to deal with, Letty, for ALL inspected because I don I brought my Accord in for inspection due to theft. I specifically asked the first rep that I had to deal with, Letty, for ALL inspected because I dont know what's wrong with the vehicle. And her attitude towards me was down right disrespectful. After a few days, she called and said she found NOTHING wrong with the car expect maintenance issues(even when the car couldn't start due to bad battery when I brought it in, she said that's also maintenance problem. I had just got my car maintained before it got stolen and battery was working fine). So I requested my insurance to do an inspection over at the dealership. Letty had to file a supplemental inspection sheet. This took her FOREVER. I guess all employees have problem with technology because not only she couldn't fax properly, but when I asked for a detailed "maintenance" problems to be emailed to me, she said she couldn't so that and she read everything to me and told me to write it down.... After that, she still insisted to the insurance that everything is just maintenance provlem and told me to pick up my car. So I went. When they drove the car out, my AC wasn't working, my radio wasn't working, my center arm console was broken.... How did they not find these problems? I had wasted two weeks on these useless inspection. So I requested another representative because Letty was still rude and some one at the dealer told me to talk to Frank cuz he is the manager. I late found out this is a lie. He's just another representative lol. My radio is still not fixed after a month and I have brought my car back over 4 times already.... Just horrible and time consuming overall experience. More

Today while on the way to work, my ENGINE light went on. In a panic I took it to my local repair and after connecting to the computer, it was found one of the connectors to my battery was very loose. Not a big deal, but can't imaging it would loosen itself, so I'd guess the tech must not of tightened it down after replacing my airbags. More
