Today was my 3rd visit and 3rd bad experience. Today I pulled in for mu APPPOINTMENT and they said someone would be right with me, in the mean time 2 other cars came in and were moved right in for service - AGAIN I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. Someone in the pull in service area apologized and asked if there was something they could do and I said I would like to speak to a manager. 5 or 10 minutes later (I am still sitting in my car) the manager came out and said yeah. At his point I was very upset and he tried to blame it on COVID to which I replied - you have technology you do not use. If you were running behind perhaps a text like when excepting the appointment or remind me about the appointment. A tech came over to speak to me and this manager BRIGGS(last name) told him I was upset for waiting 15 minutes. I then told him it was not about 15 minutes it was 2 other people pulled in after me and they were taken in for service. He then started about his 43 years in service department. This gentlemen had the worst service oriented attitude I have encounter at Diamond yet, and the others where not gold star winners. I have been in IT support(customer service) for 38 years and if I had acted the way he did it would not have been 38 years. My lease is up this December and I have started to look for other dealers because it should not hurt to have someone work on your car And you would not have to wait 2 1/2 hours FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION Last January experience. Rely on them to apply 'market markup' (AKA price-gouging) to cars because, hey, they know you're gonna pay it. Count on them to conceal and obscure options in finance, even if you come in with a pre-qualification letter. Rely on them to not give you the time of day once they have your money. Buyer beware. My mechanic found leaking fuel pump and discovered there was a recall. Contacted Diamond Chevrolet and made appointment. After ten days finally got someone to get back to me and they said $1200 to install was a recall. Contacted Diamond Chevrolet and made appointment. After ten days finally got someone to get back to me and they said $1200 to install this "free" part. That was insane as there was nothing wrong around the gas tank. My mechanic bought the part and installed it for $600 total. Dealership was trying to gouge me and I feel bad for the people they do rip off. More
