STAY AWAY FROM THIS "STEALERSHIP" !!!! I STAY AWAY FROM THIS "STEALERSHIP" !!!! I came there to purchase a brand new 2012 Cadillac SRX AWD in March….. A salesman named Michael Deppe let me STAY AWAY FROM THIS "STEALERSHIP" !!!! I came there to purchase a brand new 2012 Cadillac SRX AWD in March….. A salesman named Michael Deppe let me test drove in one…. We negotiated and agreed on the price upon an invoice of a 2012 SRX AWD. When I was asked to pick the one with the interior that I like, it turned out the one that I picked was a FWD. The salesman did not say anything nor even adjusted the price to the FWD which is $2500 less than the AWD. When I spoked to the salesman about this matter, he promised me this promised me that but none was delivered. The worse part is, he will pick up his cell phone in a heartbeat before the contract is signed, when the problem occurred, you can never reach him through his cell phone. When I asked to speak to the General Manager about the problem, he transferred me to the owner's wife named Lisa. After the salesman told her what I was complaining about, she said she was gonna go pull the deal from the computer and NEVER COME BACK. She had someone else deal with me. I asked them to give me some accessories instead to make up for the difference and all the owner can give me is a stupid pitiful "discounted price on parts and labor". He said that was not his fault when clearly his salesman give me the FWD with the AWD's price. They kept on trying to convince me to trade my car for the AWD so they can take advantage of me again. THEY ARE JUST THIEVES WHO ROB PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY LEGALLY! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF ALL THE TROUBLES AND GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP! More
I was in the market for a family sedan and had gone to several dealers looking at different makes and models. I was on a budget and was trying to get the most "bang for my buck". I met Bob Dumais at Diam several dealers looking at different makes and models. I was on a budget and was trying to get the most "bang for my buck". I met Bob Dumais at Diamond Chevrolet and he was very patient and professional showing me several different cars, comparing new and used, and he was especially helpful when it came to financing options. I felt he was more than fair with my trade in and he easily worked out the numbers so I was able to get a brand new Malibu and it even came in a little under my budget! How often does that happen at a car dealership? I love my new car and would definetly recommend Diamond and Bob Duamis to anyone looking for a vehicle. More

WE went in to look at the hhr's Diamond had in stock. I went in and met with Roy a every friendly person. What struck me first was that most of the sales staff had been there for years - a good sign of stability. Second was the fact they were expanding their facilities. So with these in mind I spoke with Roy then looked over the cars. We then sat down and between Roy and the manager we came up with a price that I liked and we made a deal. I saw no reason to go else where. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. On 11/15/11 I went to Diamond Chevrolet in Auburn, MA and spoke with Jay Henry. We negotiated the purchase price of $29,393 for a special order 2012 Equinox. We also negotiated the trade-in value of $6,000 f spoke with Jay Henry. We negotiated the purchase price of $29,393 for a special order 2012 Equinox. We also negotiated the trade-in value of $6,000 for my current car, a 2003 Toyota 4Runner. Even though the custom order would take nearly 2 months, Mr. Henry assured me the trade-in price would remain the same. Both monetary amounts were initialed specifically on the order form in case it was ever questioned. I offered to put down a deposit on the vehicle, and Mr. Henry responded, "We don't do business that way. You keep your money until the car arrives." On 2/1/12 the new car arrived, as said the online order tracking program. However, the dealership was unaware it had been delivered and I waited several days for the dealership to locate the vehicle. On 2/3/12, Mr. Henry informed me the car would be ready for pickup on 2/6/12. When I arrived at the scheduled time on 2/6/12, the car was not ready. In addition to the navigation software not being installed in the vehicle, I noticed the odometer reading of 102 miles. Mr. Henry explained that someone had "mistakenly" took the car out to run some errands resulting in the milage on the car. His comment was "stuff like that happens." Ultimately it was determined I would not be able to take the vehicle that night because some electrical parts needed to be evaluated with the navigation system. We agreed I would return the following day. I returned to the dealership on 2/7/12 to pick up the vehicle. Prior to signing the paperwork, Mr. Henry told me that my 2003 Toyota 4Runner was no longer worth the $6,000 trade-in price we had agreed on. He introduced Mick El Ghoul, Sales Manager, who explained that they sell trade-ins overseas and he would only be able to get $3,500 for it. Mr. Henry admitted that he would never have guaranteed the trade-in amount if he knew it was going to be a problem. After much deliberation, Mr. Henry determined I would not be able to take the car and that the owner would need to approve the transaction. I received a call from Mr. Henry on the morning of 2/8/12 indicating the owner had not yet been notified, but they were working on "closing the $2,500 gap" for the trade-in amount and I would hear from him later. Mr. Henry called later the same day to note that no progress had been made, but the owner would be in the office the following morning so this matter would get resolved. Mr. Henry finally called again at 5:00pm on 2/9/2012 indicating they were still working on the price. He gave no indication that the owner had been notified. I informed Mr. Henry I believed the dealership was in breech of contract and I was willing to take legal action. He said he would deliver my message to the hire-ups and I'd hear from someone within 2 hours. I received a call from the Sales Manager, Mike Monfreda, 90 minutes later. Mr. Monfreda informed me that the fine print on the back of the order form gave the deanship the right to change the trade-in amount. I was never shown or provided a copy of this documentation when we completed the initial negotiation and order for purchase. He gave no indication they would honor the agreement but would contact me again on 2/10/12 after speaking with the owner of the dealership. The situation was never resolved. More
I arrived at Diamond via an internet ad adversiting one of three red LTZ's in New England. After some unsurety with the first sales rep, Darren Chamberlin stepped in and answered all my questions with firm of three red LTZ's in New England. After some unsurety with the first sales rep, Darren Chamberlin stepped in and answered all my questions with firm and decisive answers. I walked out of Diamond with my new LTZ the next day! I had some issues with the vehicle within 2 weeks of my purchase and called Darren as he requested should I encounter any problems. His action was swift and honest. The issues were resolved immediately, including providing me with a rental at no cost. The repairs could have been done more throughly. Otherwise a VERY POSTIVE experience at Diamond and with Darren. In 3 weeks from purchase had to bring car back 3 times and all 3 times car was tied up all day and when I picked it up they were only capable of doing a portion of what was suppose to be done. The sales m and all 3 times car was tied up all day and when I picked it up they were only capable of doing a portion of what was suppose to be done. The sales manager promised me the moon and actually gave me nothing but xx. This is the 2nd time I bought a car here in 24 yrs. The 1st time real hassle too. I thought maybe after 24 yrs, they may have got their act together but I was wrong. I won't be sucked in for a third time and will let my friends and family member know what experiences I have had with Diamond. More
