Brought car in for 25,000 mi service which includes tire check. Got car back same as when I dropped it off with the tire pressure warning light on. I stopped servicing my car at this dealership after using it for 3.5 pre, during, and post pandemic. I went to trade my car in after having done all scheduled service with Del Thorndale all through that it for 3.5 pre, during, and post pandemic. I went to trade my car in after having done all scheduled service with Del Thorndale all through that time. My car was in very good cosmetic and meticulous mechanical condition. They offered me $4K less than what was owed. Ten days later I took my car to another Toyota dealership in a nearby county, where I was offered $800 OVER Kelly Blue Book. Del is a dishonest and unethical dealership. I would not E-V-E-R bring my service business to them again, let alone purchase a vehicle from them. If you’re in the market for this brand or need dealership maintenance services, drive 20-35 minutes further to another Toyota dealership. I stopped goin to them almost two years ago, and am so glad I did! There’s a Wawa nearby, make a pitstop before you take your Toyota business, elsewhere. More
I brought my 2013 Camry in for an issue that I was told required the torque converter to be replaced. After some research, I learned that this was a known problem and that Toyota had issued an extended war required the torque converter to be replaced. After some research, I learned that this was a known problem and that Toyota had issued an extended warranty to cover the cost of repair. Del Toyota not only (a) neglected to inform me of the potential issue when I bought the car from them used, but also (b) insisted that I had to pay the full price since I was 7 weeks outside the term of the extended warranty. There was no attempt at a good-faith compromise for an otherwise loyal customer, so I will NEVER do business with them. More
