I visited The Dean Team Subaru to test drive the Crosstreck Hybrid. Scot was amazing. He was very friendly and polite. He made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Even though Scott is new to this job he acted like an old pro but in a good way. I would send any of my friends to him who want to buy a new car. I also had a positive experience with everyone else I met at the dealership except for the financing process ( not the person). I waited for about 2 hours to get the financing completed because there was not enough personnel to handle that part. When I met with the financing person I was presented with numbers that already included 3 different kinds of warranties. I was never asked if I was interested in any warranties. All I wanted was the monthly payment on a loan financing the vehicle I am buying. Then I would have been receptive to discuss possible warranties. There also was a coupon for the bumper to bumper warranty which made it 50% cheaper. This was not presented to me until after I had declined the warranties. In summary - the sales experience with Scot was excellent and refreshingly honest. The financing experience was the kind of experience why people like me want to have a broker handle the deal because we don't want to have to find hidden costs and engage in back and fourth haggling over the price. The financing process needs improvement - it took way too long. The letter and the gift I received yesterday was a nice touch. Keep it up and hang on to Scot - he is a great asset to your company. I had a WONDERFUL experience buying my car at Dean Team. I worked with Wes, who was extremely helpful, and did an excellent job of getting me the car I wanted at a great price, instead of pushing the cars he might have wanted me to buy like the salesmen at the other dealerships. I don't think I'll ever buy a car anywhere else. What started out as a stressful and frustrating process quickly became simple and even fun when I went to Dean Team and Wes asked me what kind of car I was interested in. It was a freezing cold, icy, February day, and I was over 9 months pregnant. My husband had just totaled his VW Jetta (which he bought from the Dean Team years ago), and all we had left was my teeny tiny Min 9 months pregnant. My husband had just totaled his VW Jetta (which he bought from the Dean Team years ago), and all we had left was my teeny tiny Mini Cooper (which the clutch had just fallen out of). Also, we had recently cut our income in half, as we had determined I wouldn't be returning to work. So, all of a sudden being faced with needing a new car ASAP, with not a lot of budget to allocate to it, but wanting something safe that would last, I was stressed. I had cried about 5 times already that day at other dealerships, because I felt pressured by our timeline, finances and the whole situation. When we got to the Dean Team, Wes was great, he kept everything light and was the most non-pressuring salesman I've yet to encounter. We put up a low offer on a 2013 Subaru Legacy, and Wes got us the deal. No negotiations, no hassles, just offer accepted. He even had some minor cosmetic fixes thrown in (paint chips & a small dent). We worked with Rick on the finance part, and he was able to get us the same monthly payment, but got the bumper to bumper warranty extended to 6 years/80,000 miles. It was also the very end of the day when we decided to purchase the car. Wes and Rick ended up staying 2 hours after closing time to get us all settled up. That was really appreciated. I brought to car back a few days later and they did the cosmetic fixes as well as a full detail (inside & out). That car looked amazing when I got it back. Such a great experience. They made the process painless, making the absolute best out of an unplanned situation for us. We'd happily buy our next car from Wes and the Dean Team! More
