We bought a new VW last week at the Dean Team. We worked with Scott who was above and beyond what we could have asked for. He made sure we had the right car. The price I received for my new car was great- the trade in value for my old car was more than I hoped for. My salesman was supposed to call me two days after the sale to arrange for pickup of the new wheels. He did not do so, and I left a vmail later that week which was not returned. I tried the next week, and Sean in service ended up with my call, but did not follow up for four days, at which point I tried for a third time to arrange pickup of the wheels which I had paid for. Finally, after being passed around to several people, the arrangements were made. During the appointment, the new wheels (and the armrest which I had also purchased), I was told it would take 1.5 hours....then 2 hours. I wanted a loaner, and I waited an hour to get one- the service guy basically forgot about me and I sat in the waiting area. Again, I had to take matters into my own hands, and finally I got a loaner. 4.5 hours after dropoff (and three hours more than I was originally told), I had my car back. Even then I had to wait fifteen minutes for them to pull it around and hand it off. I wonder if they would have ever gotten back to me if I hadn't taken matters into my own hands. I would recommend this dealership with one caveat: You will get good service and a good price, but you have to be proactive about it. They are not "good" at customer service, but they are "good" at scrambling when you demand it. More
My husband and I were looking for a new car, specifically a Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium. I went on line and left my email address on several sites, something I swore I would never do. Justin at Dean Team re a Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium. I went on line and left my email address on several sites, something I swore I would never do. Justin at Dean Team responded and told us he had located two cars, one in Wisconsin and one in Colorado. Other dealers told us they had nothing, could not find anything, would not be able to trade for a Legacy Premium 6 speed or we had to order and wait 6 - 10 weeks. Justin went above and beyond, making several trades to get us our car. We worked with Justin over 10 days, drove down to St. Louis to get our car, and fell in love with it at first sight. Our car had only 6 miles on the odometer, clean, nicely equipped, everything he promised. The staff at Dean Team was friendly, courteous and polite. I would recommend this experience to anyone as Justin went above and beyond maintaining frequent communication, finding the car and make a series of trades to get the Wisconsin car to Ballwin. This is my first new car, and the whole experience was great! More

I can not tell you how happy I am with the Dean Team Automotive in Ballwin, MO! I was not even expecting to get what I wanted especially after the way I was treated at Suntrop. He got straight to the point, sat me down and ask me what I wanted. He did not try and sell me a car I didn't want or give me a lot of "Mumbo Jumbo." I have had bad experiences at other dealerships where the salesman wasn't listening to what I wanted, and I appreciated Neil's attentiveness to my needs and wants. He was honest and gave me a car I really enjoy. I have also sent my brother to Dean Team-Ballwin to work with Neil on a car and it was successful. I will continue to send people his way...Thank You Neil. More

Being new to Volkswagen, he went over the vehicle, the company and answered all my questions. It felt like a conversation you would have with a friend and everything about my experience was better than I had expected. Dean team was supposed to close at 9pm and I don't think I left until just before 10:30pm, with no one rushing to get me processed or ever complaining about being there late. This dealer is truly there for its customers and I could not have asked for a better new car purchasing experience. I recommend this dealer to anyone and I will go back there when I am ready for a new car. More
John Ostlund was my salesperson. He was honest and did not pressure me too much, to purchase. He placed my new car under roof, as I had requested, because my new car was staying with the dealer overnight not pressure me too much, to purchase. He also took my home address out of the navigation on a demo car I drove when I could not figure out how to delete it. My only disappointment was in the trade in value for my used Subaru. I had looked at its value on two different sites and requestest a few hundred dollars less than the sites recommended. Mr.Dean would not honor those and offered my $500.00 less. I took it. I believe that if I would have held my ground, I could have prevailed. I did use a program called ZAG to price my new car and that price was honored. It took the haggle out (almost) of car buying, which I really despise. I am happy with my new car. It has 50 miles on it. More
