I went to the dealership to purchase a 2012 Touareg TDI. The car description stated the vehicle was trailer prepared. I inspected the car and noticed it didn't have a trailer hitch. I told Adam the car MUST have a trailer hitch or there was not deal. Adam assured me he will have a hitch installed and all I needed to do was to make an appointment. I explained to him I was going on vacation in several weeks and needed the hitch. I traded in my Chevy Avalanche. They really tried to low ball me on a perfect Avalanche and had to go to Kelly Blue Book to prove to them there trade in price was very low. They did increase the trade value a bit. I took the car and from here everything went South. I didn't receive a call from Adam for a week and called him asking for information on my hitch. He informed me that there was no hitches available and he would look into taking one off another car. Another week went by and Adam informed me that VW representative told them not to remove a hitch from another vehicle. I requested that my Chevy Avalanche be returned to me or I would return the Touareg. Adam stated he would talk to the General Manager. No word. I received the VW survey and stated clearly the poor support and misleading statements I got from the salesman. I got one call from the dealership on my answering machine. I filed several complaints to VW Touareg Executive Care to no avail. They are truly worthless. They actually told me that the car is rated only to 1600# regardless of what hitch or modification was done. I started to work with the Curt hitch manufacturer. They released a new hitch for the 2011-12 Touareg. Bommarito VW in Hazelwood helped me obtain the necessary bundles and the trailer lighting module. They also helped me with copies of the tech manual. This modification cost me over $1000 to make up for the $425 option. Do not believe anything the salesmen tell you. It would be best to say away from the Dean Team and go to Bommarito. More

The Ballwin Dean Team was the first dealer that contacted me after I put in a request to USAA's car buying service. So that's where I went to test drive the car I wanted - the 2012 Beetle. I stuck with them because of how impressed I was by my salesman, John Ostlund. He was so friendly and straight-forward and didn't pressure me at all which I really appreciated as a first-time new car buyer. He was easy to talk to and made it easy for me to stay in contact with him as he worked hard getting me the exact car I wanted for the price I wanted as quickly as possible. I also appreciated getting a really nice loaner to drive around while I waited! All the staff I came into contact with there was very friendly and the customer service was great. John's personality really won me over for the Ballwin Dean Team. I'd recommend him to anyone in the market for a new car! More

I inquired about a vehicle online and was contacted by the Internet Sales Manager, Dave Liss. He was very polite, answered my questions about the car, and set a flexible test drive appointment to fit into my busy schedule. When I arrived at the dealership, Dave was there to greet me and introduced me to a salesman, Scott Roberts, who assisted me further. I cannot speak more highly of Scott. He is a down-to-earth, straight-forward salesman who gave me a fair deal and helped me compare several different models to find the car to fit my needs. Scott was very polite, did a great job determining my needs in a car, and was extremely helpful through the financing process. Salesmen at other dealerships seemed more interested in getting me to sign my name on the line, but it was a whole different ball game dealing with Scott. He focused on making sure I was comfortable with the car, in the car, and the package he put together to finance the car. On top of all of that, I don't think there was a question out there Scott couldn't answer. He knows his product and he does a great job getting to know his customer so that he can create the perfect match. This was my first time to use the Dean Team service for my Subaru Legacy. I left the car off at the Night Drop off on a Sunday and Eric was quick to call me on Monday with the prognosis (check engine ligh my Subaru Legacy. I left the car off at the Night Drop off on a Sunday and Eric was quick to call me on Monday with the prognosis (check engine light) and steps. He took care of all the details regarding the issue and efficiently handled working the extra steps with the leasing company. I was out of town, and he handled all the details for me. When the problem was resolved he called promptly, and informed me of the extra work that could be done while I was out. Eric was prompt, friendly, and looked out for the every need of my company car...even had it washed and ready for me when I returned late Tuesday evening. His service made me believe again in the standard of workmanship delivered at a dealership, far superior with my vehicle than any I have experienced in a very long time at DOBBS or Jiffy Lube. More

I just wanted to tell you, that so far I have really enjoyed working with both you and John Ostlund. Your honesty, integrity and sincerity without being high pressured and given the run around, is a “plus” experience for a car buyer.
