Usually I rank going to have service done on my car right up there with going to the dentist. I must say my recent visit to DePaula Mazda was above the norm. All the staff were warm and welcoming. The service manager, Joe, was able to intercede with Mazda corporate for me and provided an important repair. I am extremely grateful for the care they provided for both my car and myself. More

$900 bill. Went in there for just an oil change. Advisor called with some prices for filter, spark plugs, gasket but NEVER mentioned that labor itself was going to be $500. I get in the car afterwards and the smell of fuel was overpowering. Had to take the car back. Problem with gasket and leak all over engine. Manager, Justin was apologetic and helpful but it still felt like price gouging since I wasn’t given a ball park figure ahead of time. Thankfully the car is ok now and I wasn’t charged the second day. However, I would not go back. Anyone who frames the car in better ask them for the price for parts AND labor ahead of time! More

Service was okay, it was kind of busy. Lots of people coming and going, but I can’t complain about any. I was happy to get in and out myself. DePaula has taken great care of me and my 2017 Explorer from Day 1. Regular service has detected and repaired a transmission leak and a nail in my tire before either became problematic.
