Tried to sell me a truck that would only last for 50 miles This happened in April 2017: I bought a Nissan Titan, all cash. By the time I got to Norman, all of the oil had leaked out. The service center manager, Alan Pierce, was visibly angry at management, because they had priced out the truck and put it on the lot to sell without him being able to inspect it first. He said he would take care of repairing it for free. The next day, he called and said it would cost something around $2600 to repair. At that point, I wanted to speak to the manager. He wasn't available, and the secretary said he would call back. He never did. I called repeatedly for a week. He was always "with a customer". Meanwhile, the truck I bought was still sitting in their repair shop. I finally called again and got the same story. I told the secretary that I was going to contact our local news, either KFOR, KOCO, or KWTV, and in addition, tell my story to everyone on social media that I could. Somehow the manager was magically free to talk to me at that point and said he would give me my money back. After that, It took over a week, and multiple calls, but I was finally able to get my money back. I will avoid this dealership, and any other dealership with the name "David Stanley" like the plague, and I'd recommend the same for anyone else. This is a place where you'd only go if you're really in a bind financially and have no other options. For some reason, I still get emails and mail asking about how I like "my" Nissan Titan, even though I got my money back for it, and they either sold it to another unsuspecting customer or put it where it belongs - in a salvage yard. I haven't received all of the promised items. I was promised my Window Stickers as I am a big car guy who saves all of my paperwork. I have called back 6 times, still no window stickers. I also had a certificate for a $25 Visa gift card if I took a test drive. Still haven't received that either. Purchased the Roush Mustang back in May. Flew up from Alabama. The tint that was installed on my windows has many air bubbles in it. Disappointed. More

These folks carry a high sense of professionalism and sense of urgency which is why I will be returning for my next addition to our fleet. More

Terrible experience I just had a terrible experience. I drove off the lot, told that the deal was done, only to be contacted days later, to be told my loan did not get ap I just had a terrible experience. I drove off the lot, told that the deal was done, only to be contacted days later, to be told my loan did not get approved. 8 hard inquiries on my credit, and about a month later (yes i was left driving around in a car, with no approved loan from them, for almost a month), i finally just took a pre approved check from my bank up there to finish the never ending car deal. The car deal never should have taken 1 month and 6 trips (spending hours at a time) to the dealership. When negotiating for the car, we agreed that we would upgrade the wheels, and a few other parts. Conviently they forgot to add the wheels to the "we owe" sheet. When i let my salesman know about this, once all papers were signed, i was told not to worry about it because the upgraded wheels are figured into the total cost of the car, and all he has to do is print up a new "we owe" sheet showing the wheels. I still have his text message, and a whole conversation of him saying this, on my phone. I went to go pick up the corrected "we owe" sheet today, and was told the exact opposite. I was told by a different person (A.J. the sales manager) that the wheels are not factored into my deal, and if i wanted them, i would need to pay them more money, on top of the money already put down as down payment, and on top of the total amount already agreed on (which included the wheels). I was promised one thing, but sold another. I trusted A.J. and his paperwork. Never did i think they would really try to pull something like this. Very disappointed, and let down. More
Pleasantly Surprised. I'm not gonna lie. Several friends and I have had some bad experiences with the other David Stanley stores in the past. I was quite apprehensive to I'm not gonna lie. Several friends and I have had some bad experiences with the other David Stanley stores in the past. I was quite apprehensive to even look at a vehicle here. My salesman Caleb Brown and the manager AJ changed all of that for me. This was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. I got what I wanted, and paid $15,000 below MSRP. The whole process took less than 4 hours of my time. While I thought that was pretty great, they continuously apologized for it taking so long. I can definitely say my next purchase will likely be made from David Stanley Ford of Midwest City. More
