Mark Zachery 'Zach' welcomed me and was very easy to talk to and deal with. I was impressed at how quickly it all went. I would recommend not only the dealership - but ask for 'Zach' he did a great job. More
2012 Cadillac CTS bought, well maybe not. I found the 2012 Cadillac CTS online at David Stanley Ford used car lot. It looked like it could fit our needs as far as pricing and passenger capacity. We were looking to downsize from a SUV to a car. It even happened to be the color my wife liked. This August 1st. So at the spur of the moment we left for Oklahoma city, which is about a hour and a half away. So we all load up both daughters, mother-in-law, wife, and I. We arrive at the used lot to find the car we were looking for, happliy still there. We check the car out for a couple of minutes, when we are approached by Bob a salesman. We take a test drive, and the car seems to be what we are looking for, so we commence with the back and forth of a car deal. Right upfront we were honest with Bob about our financial situation. That being we were at the end of a bankruptcy, with 2 months left. He said he knew what we were going through, and that we'd find out as we went along. Papers were signed and financials were checked. Bad news we needed co-signer. Good news that's why my mother-in-law had come along. So she co-signed. What do you know we're approved. Next a term and payment were agreed upon. Even know we had never really gotten a straight answer on the actual price of the car. Should've run away then. So off to the finance offices we go. Ever we meet Tony. Well except for me. I was told it'd be a better deal if it was done with the mother and daughter on the paperwork. Well ok then.I'll just wait right out here. So deal is done, off you go with your "new to you" Cadillac CTS. Minus the floor mats and $125 a piece key fobs. We were told,"sorry, sometimes not everything comes with the car" should've run then. But no, we drove back home at 10pm. As I enter neighborhood, the steering column starts to make a grinding noise when the steering wheel is turned. So the next day, August 2nd, we call to tell Bob about said noise. He tells us to come back up on Thursday August 4th so it can be taken care of free of charge, hopefully for us. Ok we can do that, see you Thursday. Well not so fast guys, hold up, there's a problem. Tony one of the finance manager we had dealt with calls my wife two days later on the 3rd to tell us, that because we hadn't told him about the bankruptcy, there's no deal. We told everybody, how is it, that Tony was left out? He tells my wife, that unless my mother-in-law can secure financing of her own the cars gotta come back. Tony commences to tell my wife that even if my mother-in-law gets financing, that he won't sell to her anyway. Because he knew the car was going to us. What the? Tony is being less than polite to my wife the whole time. Insinuating that we had lied to him. My wife at this point, tells Tony that there will be no alternative financing, and to please come and get his car. It's no longer our car, it's their property, so please come and remove it, thank you very much.Tony tells my wife that he'll call back in a bit too arrange the pickup. Two hours pass, no call. My wife calls the general manager, sorry can't remember his name, he thinks 5pm that the deal is still on, because Tony has told him no different. My wife tells him that the deal is definitely off, and that the communication at the dealership poor. At this point the GM starts to be less than polite with my wife. So my wife is less than polite with him. She also tells him to pick up their car, that it's in our driveway, and it's no longer insured. He responded, that they would pick it up on Thursday. So here the car sits in our driveway, in it's, screwed up steering column, no fobs, no floor mats glory waiting on someone from David Stanley Ford to retrieve it. I will never do any business with a David Stanley dealership of any kind ever again. I can promise you that. It's my hope, that this review finds someone before they do business with a David Stanley dealership. They more than lived up to the dishonest car dealer stereotype. Avoid a David Stanley dealership like the plague. More
