Think long and hard about buying from this dealer. You will likely get a defective vehicle in one way or the other. I bought a brand new truck with dents in the roof that could not be seen from the walk-around inspection sales walks you through. Those dents caused the sunroof to fail as soon as I was off the lot and they refused to pay for the repair. This is a very shady operation. Word to the wise, STAY CLEAR! More

Called to buy and I couldn't believe how hard it was to get all the info and the total cost. took almost 30days to complete the deal. Since out of state I had it shipped. When It got here the hard cover for the bed was placed inside with no mounting hardware. Was told there was a recall and dont know when the parts are coming in. I would have bought it closer to me. That was one of the packages I wanted in a truck and they were the only ones with it in stock. Was told not to use it untill fixed which has no eta. Sherry Quick there customer service manager called me and they were willing to buy me a new aftermarket bed cover so I can use my truck for work the reason I bought it. Well they said the parts were in stock so I wasted 2 days dropping my truck off at my local Chevy dealer. Well the parts for my truck are still on backorder and no eta. been trying to contact Dave Smith Motors for two weeks. Guess what , Sherry Quick there customer service manager won't return my phone calls now. left 3 messages over 2 weeks and she won't call me back. NEVER will buy a truck from them again. Thats what happens when you don't buy local and they really don't care about customer service. More
Terrible dealer, terrible employees, even worse customer service. Trying to speak with somebody is almost impossible, it's around a 20 to 30 minute wait period. Good luck getting your money back if you put service. Trying to speak with somebody is almost impossible, it's around a 20 to 30 minute wait period. Good luck getting your money back if you put a deposite on a truck and the deal goes south because of there outrageous interaste rates. Put a 500 deposite down, 1 month later and hundreds of calls later they said they were refunding me my money. Checked my account and they only gave me 200 back. Now currently in the process of starting over to get the rest of my money back... I've bought alot of trucks in my time and dave smith has to be the most pathetic dealership I have ever felt with... They mailed me paperwork to sign. 1st issue is salesman told me title and reg could say my name with company name below it. That was a lie. 2nd issue was Chrysler , and Dave Smith decided to ship a truck with a blemish in the paint size of a quarter that I saw within 1 short walkthrough around the truck upon delivery. What did thye offer me for this? Oh to send it to a body shop and send me $100 check. I had to drive to local dealer 3 times. News 80k trucks in a body shop that I haven’t driven more than 100 miles but yet paying. A huge payment on. They are paying for blemish repair and a horrible rental. The lady who offered $100 wont respond to me asking for a new truck sent without blemish or if that was there best and final. Awful company once they get your money, More

Horrible customer service, they're only after your money and don't give a s*** about you or anything else. Tried to buy a vehicle from them recently. Dave Anderson was the salesman I was unfortunate enough and don't give a s*** about you or anything else. Tried to buy a vehicle from them recently. Dave Anderson was the salesman I was unfortunate enough to work with. Talked to him on a Friday; he was supposed to be calling me back on the following Monday. I didn't hear from him for a week, despite me calling his direct line, leaving multiple messages, and sending multiple emails. Finally called and asked for a different salesman. Dave finally called me after whoever I talked to went directly to him/his manager. Got a terrible deal with the financing, but that's not a surprise since my credit isn't the best and it's a dealership. But then when I said I didn't want to put down a $500 deposit when I didn't know what kind of financing I was going to get or if I would even qualify, Dave was extremely rude on the phone and said he was no longer going to help me or even attempt to work on my financing if I didn't put down a deposit. I will take my business ANYWHERE but here in the future. More
Customer Commitment: Where the Rubber Truly Meets the Road An open letter to the owners and upper echelon at Dave Smith Motors: I'm two and a half years into my relationship with Dave Smith Motors. The vehicl An open letter to the owners and upper echelon at Dave Smith Motors: I'm two and a half years into my relationship with Dave Smith Motors. The vehicle has experienced a couple of electrical or electronic issues that are a little alarming considering it has less than 11,000 miles. That's on the maker. What has not been an issue is the response and service I have received from the folks at DSM. From Curt Zeller's assistance with financing to Jenni Busch's excellent response to service requests, I couldn't be more pleased with the level of customer commitment I have received. Though I don't know the names of the individuals who have done the unforeseen repairs nor those who have performed the routine maintenance, all have exceeded expectations. When reviewing this, please keep in mind where we are at as a nation: The economy is in freefall and much of the country is in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic and the associated and often-lethal effects of COVID-19. Despite the inherent dangers of something as simple as customer interaction, these folks perform their jobs without any sign of hesitancy or fear. Two months ago, they would be doing just that: Their jobs (albeit, doing them well). Today, they are truly going above and beyond. Please recognize your unsung heroes who are going to keep your business afloat. It's not the brands you sell, nor is it the salespersons who xxxx them who have earned my loyalty. It's the folks in the trenches who deal with dissatisfied customers and handle the exchanges who are going to carry you through this unprecedented xxxx storm. I tip my hat and give a North Idaho nod to those who are the backbone of your company, our economy, and our nation. Salute! More
