Our experience this time was exceptional - working with sales representative Sally Swanson, we were able to get the exact truck we were looking for - and with all the bells and whistles we wanted. We had a great experience from our sales person to the shuttle driver (Bo) to the finance department to the prep folks who had the truck ready and waiting when we arrived. Thank you to all - we are thrilled with our purchase and the price we paid. More

Easy as pie purchase. I decided to buy a newer truck when my 21 year old Dodge started having a few issues. I called Dave Smith motors and told them what I was looking for I decided to buy a newer truck when my 21 year old Dodge started having a few issues. I called Dave Smith motors and told them what I was looking for and in minutes he (Lance Williams) showed me the truck I wanted. He helped me find the lowest interest rate for my loan and made buying the truck very easy. Oh and I'm from Western Washington and believe me, it was worth the drive. I am not getting rid of my old truck because it is one of the best Dodge's around. In 5 years I will probably go back to Dave Smith motors and replace my Chevy Duramax. More

Don't bother Although the people I dealt with were pleasant, the staff is inefficient, poorly trained (leading to lots of unnecessary communication problems and mi Although the people I dealt with were pleasant, the staff is inefficient, poorly trained (leading to lots of unnecessary communication problems and misinformation), & there is a high staff turn over rate. Almost everyone I talked to has only been there one month. I feel my sales consultant and sales manager did the best they could given their working circumstances, but a business of this magnitude should know that their employees are their #1 asset, and invest more wisely in them. I witnessed some of the staff in other areas of the dealership unnecessarily treat my sales consultant rudely. Furthermore, they gave different information to the sales manager than the sales consultant on the same (second) vehicle I wanted to buy, leaving me wondering about the integrity of the dealership as a whole and their reasons for choosing to tell me what I was told. I purchased a truck, but came to purchase 2 vehicles and did not, could not. It took 3 days to consummate the deal, and I am doubtful that I received honest info as I have negotiated a lower deal in the past on the same vehicle I purchased. On Labor Day weekend, they were not open on Sunday, and failed to communicate that over the phone before I flew in (my expense, they did not compensate, although they have offered to do so in the past)!! I spent 2 nights sleeping on an absolutely horrible mattress that made my back excruciatingly painful, at the "best hotel in town." On numerous occasions during the negotiations I received different prices for the same accessories. I was also told multiple times that the paperwork and the vehicle would be done in 1.5-2 hours...then the time doubled...and then they advised me that they let all but one service technician go and could not finish getting my vehicle ready to leave on that third night (which they ultimately did, but such POOR client management). The left hand of this dealership has no idea what the right hand is doing. I was unimpressed. So many little things they could have done to improve the experience that they do not think to do. This business owner will not be back. More

Not only is this dealership the Full-Meal-Deal, equipped to handle most any need but the ambiance of the dealership itself, the beautifully surroundings of Kellogg Idaho, and the amenities of the town, such as overnight accommodations providing discounts if you’re buying a vehicle. Not alone the non-pressure sale staff, ease of the purchasing experience, itself, most of which is done prior to arrival. Most of all, when I test the waters around my local area, I ask if they can be competitive with Dave Smith, most of which put their pencils down, push their chair back from their desk and bid me a farwell… More
