This was going to be a very limited production, so I was keen on securing a place in line for the 807hp variant of the Hellcat. In November of last year Dodge gave out all the allocations (special editions included) all at once to all the dealerships in the country based on volume. On November 22nd I contacted my salesman at the Kellogg dealership to inquire how did my place on the list look visa vie the allocations they received. He told me I looked good and that if I came in the next day and did a "build" (i.e., select the options I wanted on the car) that the sales agent responsible for giving out allocations would reserve a Hellcat Redeye (807hp) for me. So on November 23rd I did exactly that. My salesman also wanted me to place the order that day (the car was priced at over $100k) but I asked if I could have the weekend to think about the colors I had chosen (the next day was Thanksgiving). He said he could probably hold the order until Monday- I said great. We talked again that Saturday about equipment options, and he said he would be in contact with me on Monday. Come Monday morning I'm ready to place my order, but I get this very nonchalant text from my salesman saying: "Looks like someone snagged that Redeye", with no explanation given. I was shocked. What do you mean you sold the car to someone else?? The car was offered to me. We have a contract. You were going to hold the order until today, unless you needed a decision sooner from me. You never contacted me. I pressed for an explanation. He said someone higher on the list than me had a miscommunication with their salesperson as to what car they wanted, so my car was taken away and given to them. I said what you did was unethical, and maybe not even legal- I need to find out. Well as soon as I used the word "legal", they wouldn't let me talk to anyone. I tried several times over several days to talk to someone in general management, but every time was blocked by the Sales Department. Unbelievable. Dominic was the most knowledgeable salesman I have ever met, This model jeep, a hybrid, was new to me. Dominic had all the answers to my questions, you could tell he had done his homework even if I hadn't. I've only had to call him once, so far, with questions, he had the answers right away. I feel confident that he is going to be there in the future to answer anymore questions that come up. Thank you, Dominic for a very enjoyable jeep buying experience. More

Heard of such great deals. Contacted them about a Ram 1500. After 3 people contacted me without any single piece of data about the Ram I asked about, I finally settled on one. They said it had a deposit, as did every other one I asked about. I then reverted to asking about pricing philosophy and they said they sell at MSRP or slightly more. I can go to a local dealer and save a few thousand. Why work with a dealer so remote? What is my incentive? Zero incentive, that's what. When I told them that they got very defensive and told me they were the #1 Ram dealer in the USA. How? I have no clue. they said they would match any dealer and slightly beat them. Wow... for a 5 hours of travel each way. I have to do negotiating work for them? Give me a break. No better than any other dealer you drive to. I bought locally and saved $7500 off MSRP More
Don’t trust Dave Smith of Kellog Idaho. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in an attempt to have a deposit refunded to me. Dave Smith Motors responded to my complaint with the following reply: "After going through Mr. Bob in an attempt to have a deposit refunded to me. Dave Smith Motors responded to my complaint with the following reply: "After going through Mr. Bob Xxxxxxxx's file...It is clear that the customer did not sign the non-refundable deposit for order form that the salesperson is required to have in a customers file. Mr. Xxxxxxx's file will now go to our accounting department, and a $1000 check will be mailed out and his credit card will be refunded $1000 as well. Hopefully Mr. Xxxxxxx will not let one persons actions reflect poorly on our entire company". Shortly thereafter they sent a credit for the charge portion only to pull it back and trigger the dispute process between Dave Smith Motors and my Bank. My Bank was able to credit my account but it took nearly a month to do so. They never sent the check as promised in their reply to the BBB. It's my opinion, based on this experience, that they sent the initial credit as an act of deception in order to show a satisfactory resolution to the BBB complaint. It's been almost 2 months since the check was promised. My mistake was trusting that Dave Smith Motors would make good on their word and that's clearly not the case. I would strongly encourage anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to do it elsewhere. More
