Dave Smith sold me a $80,000 2023 GMC (not a Chrysler because there's no GMC option to select) with the bottom side and engine compartment covered in rust, and I didn't notice until I got home. We waited because there's no GMC option to select) with the bottom side and engine compartment covered in rust, and I didn't notice until I got home. We waited 6 months for that truck, and there was a checklist saying the truck was completely inspected. Instead of giving me my money back, they made us trade it in for a truck we didn't like, and it cost even more money than the one we wanted. Issac, our salesperson is great, it's the company and the managers that suck. More

I needed a simple radio security code. Lithia Dodge in Kennewick would not return my emails or phone calls. I went in person and they gave me the run around. Service sent me to parts, part Lithia Dodge in Kennewick would not return my emails or phone calls. I went in person and they gave me the run around. Service sent me to parts, parts tried to send me back to service. When that failed they told me I would need $55, a VIN and a serial number. When I said I had those, they said "Well, a manager needs to do it and they are doing inventory. I don't know how long it'll be". I took that to mean they didn't want to help me. A five minute call to Dave Smith and we had it sorted for free. More
After buying several vehicles from Dave Smith, I can assure we will never be back. The service department scheduled 4 appointments for 4 of our vehicles. None were completed in the week they were schedu assure we will never be back. The service department scheduled 4 appointments for 4 of our vehicles. None were completed in the week they were scheduled. We had to drive them all back weeks later. The sales department is really a joke trying to push vehicles down your throat that is not what you are looking for. Definitely DO NOT leave a deposit in case a vehicle you like comes along. We have been fighting for months to get our money back after we found EXACTLY what we were looking for somewhere else for a MUCH BETTER price! The turnover at Dave Smith is astounding. We worked with 1 salesman originally, then arrived weeks later and were told that he no longer worked there. We started a new relationship with another guy, then to call and talk to him, to find out he was no longer there. After I got tired of the runaround and told them we wanted our money back, some punk kid told me there was nothing they could do and he would have a manager call me...... here we are a month later and haven't heard a word. There are some great dealerships out there, and trust me, this is not one of them anymore! More

I ordered this vehicle in June of 2022. The vehicle arrived when the dealership said it would. Multiple email/phone communication with the sales representative, Cody occurred during the 8-m The vehicle arrived when the dealership said it would. Multiple email/phone communication with the sales representative, Cody occurred during the 8-month waiting process. When the truck was expected at the dealership, I received a call from Cody (sales rep) saying that the truck would be available for pick up between 2/9-2/21 (dates might not be accurate). We purchased plane tickets for a date within the specified time frame and Cody called me on the phone after receiving my plane itinerary and stated that me coming on that date didn't give him enough time to get the truck ready for pickup (even though this was within HIS set timeframe he gave me.) I rescheduled the plane flight for a different week and adjusted my work schedule. The dealership shuttle was waiting for my wife and I at the airport when the plane landed and drove us to the dealership. The shuttle driver was great! We arrived at the dealership and met Cody and learned that he had mistakenly ordered a BLACK truck even though we ordered a WHITE truck. I have multiple emails stating the color WHITE WHITE WHITE..... nevertheless, the black truck looks awesome but how does a salesman order the wrong color? Then Cody spent 2 hours trying to figure out why the First Responder discount was not working and another employee recognized he had completed my contract as a "lease" and not a "purchase" and it all would have to be redone. Finally it was decided to take the discount off of the price of the vehicle in order to save more time and frustration. Cody did offer us a discounted rate at a nearby hotel for us having a prolonged stay at the dealership for his lack experience drawing up a sales contract- we declined the stay. While we worked with the finance fella, Steve, who was across the street, Cody placed the temporary registration in the rear window, loaded our suitcases in the truck, came and shook MY hand (ignoring my wife) and said goodbye. Steve (finance guy), assured us that Cody would still be nearby after signing the purchase docs. However, Cody had departed for the night and we were walked to our new vehicle by Steve. We didn't realize until 200+ miles into our trip back home that Cody failed to remove the tracking device on the truck. We called Steve (finance) to make sure that if we removed the tracking device we would still be able to drive the truck. Here it is 3 days after purchase and the 24-72 hour phone call Cody said we would receive from him to make sure all was going ok with the vehicle has not occurred. EVERYONE at the dealership we dealt with, from the shuttle guy to the finance guy to the employees trying to ensure we weren't frustrated was WONDERFUL...everyone except Cody. He ordered the wrong color of truck, left the tracking device in the vehicle, and didn't make his "required" follow-up phone call. We did not receive a discount of any kind for his mistake.... thankfully we were happy with the color or it would've been a deal breaker. Also- he told us that if we didn't complete the survey with "perfect scores" we would be "taking food out of his children's mouths." How can we give a perfect score when a salesman orders a BLACK vehicle when WHITE was what the customer ordered?? Anyways, Cody aside, we were happy with the transaction. We would recommend this dealership but we would NEVER refer a friend to Cody. We purchased a 2023 Chevy 3500 HD. More
THEY SOLD A CAR RIGHT OUT FROM UNDER ME! ! Half a year ago I put a $1000 deposit down to secure a spot on the list for the "last call" 2023 gas combustion Dodge Challenger. This was going ! Half a year ago I put a $1000 deposit down to secure a spot on the list for the "last call" 2023 gas combustion Dodge Challenger. This was going to be a very limited production, so I was keen on securing a place in line for the 807hp variant of the Hellcat. In November of last year Dodge gave out all the allocations (special editions included) all at once to all the dealerships in the country based on volume. On November 22nd I contacted my salesman at the Kellogg dealership to inquire how did my place on the list look visa vie the allocations they received. He told me I looked good and that if I came in the next day and did a "build" (i.e., select the options I wanted on the car) that the sales agent responsible for giving out allocations would reserve a Hellcat Redeye (807hp) for me. So on November 23rd I did exactly that. My salesman also wanted me to place the order that day (the car was priced at over $100k) but I asked if I could have the weekend to think about the colors I had chosen (the next day was Thanksgiving). He said he could probably hold the order until Monday- I said great. We talked again that Saturday about equipment options, and he said he would be in contact with me on Monday. Come Monday morning I'm ready to place my order, but I get this very nonchalant text from my salesman saying: "Looks like someone snagged that Redeye", with no explanation given. I was shocked. What do you mean you sold the car to someone else?? The car was offered to me. We have a contract. You were going to hold the order until today, unless you needed a decision sooner from me. You never contacted me. I pressed for an explanation. He said someone higher on the list than me had a miscommunication with their salesperson as to what car they wanted, so my car was taken away and given to them. I said what you did was unethical, and maybe not even legal- I need to find out. Well as soon as I used the word "legal", they wouldn't let me talk to anyone. I tried several times over several days to talk to someone in general management, but every time was blocked by the Sales Department. Unbelievable. I have three short sentences to describe my experience with working with this dealership: NO TRANSPARENCY. NO ACCOUNTABILITY. NO RECOURSE. More
I want to thank my salesman, Dominic for such a great job. He didn't give me any pressure, I told him what I was interested in, and the exact model was there waiting for me when I arrived. Dominic was th job. He didn't give me any pressure, I told him what I was interested in, and the exact model was there waiting for me when I arrived. Dominic was the most knowledgeable salesman I have ever met, This model jeep, a hybrid, was new to me. Dominic had all the answers to my questions, you could tell he had done his homework even if I hadn't. I've only had to call him once, so far, with questions, he had the answers right away. I feel confident that he is going to be there in the future to answer anymore questions that come up. Thank you, Dominic for a very enjoyable jeep buying experience. More
