RV sales, we stopped to look at a class A, we received a price for the used motor home, and the slide did not work in order for us to buy the motor home we were told we would have to pay for the fix. The sa price for the used motor home, and the slide did not work in order for us to buy the motor home we were told we would have to pay for the fix. The sales person said it was as clean as it would be for the price. The second motor home, we agreed a price, the air conditioner’s did not work we were told we would have to pay for the fix, one week later we called about the same motor home they said everything worked and it’s in great shape, not sure why it’s still here, in fact nothing has changed. We have purchased from Dave Arbogast before and the deal was not great, but not really bad, good enough to return. The new manager of the used sales is seeing great sales, THE SALES MAN TOLD US best in years, well the USA is seeing great RV sales, THE SALES MAN TOLD US, my experience would tell me, the return of customers when times are not so great, is what drives success, it would appear the owner, should look beyond what is at hand. Great at the moment is good for the guy running the used sales department. Not so great for everyone else that works there. More
I needed to upgrade to a 5th wheel Toy Hauler from a regular 5th wheel travel trailer. I knew exactly what I was looking for) Keystone Raptor 310-TS. I has not in a hurry, I took about 2 years shopping regular 5th wheel travel trailer. I knew exactly what I was looking for) Keystone Raptor 310-TS. I has not in a hurry, I took about 2 years shopping the Southern Michigan Dealerships. At one point I contacted Arborgast for a quote on-line, Cristy promptly replied was very competitive price, I blew it off, I didn't even reply back. I felt like I'd be wasting more time? I continued to comb the dealerships here in Michigan and was very close to having one built to order. Then I decided to give Arborgast a try, Ed Cross was able to get me the price I was very happy with, and after a couple days work Justin was able to get me financing at the rate I was looking for. It was that easy, I should have went to Arborgast first but I had never heard of them so? I have read some treads on-line where it's been said that they are able to provide competitive prices by reducing or eliminating advertisement costs, and also conduct there own RV Shows @ there Dealership in Troy, Ohio. This all made great business sense to me on both our behaves. So I made that short trip (175 mi.) down to Ohio to make my purchase, and was on my way back around noon. I wish I's taken more time to check the place out, like the boats but I was in a hurry to get back home. I found this Dealership to be the largest I've ever been to, and the most updated in all regards, it's awesome! You could get lost. Anyway through this process I was introduced to many of the staff, at times they doubled up to assist. Never at anytime was I pressured or distracted about anything, they were only there to inform and assist. I'd have to say this was the most pleasant purchase experience that I've ever had, conducted by the friendliest and most knowledgeable folks I've ever met. I'll be going back, wish they sold Ford products... Anyway check Arborgast out, save yourself all that time and frustration early in the hunt for your next RV. Mark from Michigan. : ) More

Having driven 400 miles to a dealership we knew nothing about could have turned out badly. But negotiations were unstressful, prices were fair, selection was better than could be expected, prepping was thorough (including the wheel balancing) and the walk through by Brendon was complete. This is our 6th motorhome and this purchase was the most satisfying. Thanks Mike for the time you patiently spent with us. More
Very poor customer service. After you purchase an RV, DO NOT expect customer service. If you have Pat Borton as a salesperson, please do not count on him for anything other than taking your money. I started dealing with Scott Bell the end of may on a Motor Home they had advertised on the net. I was told they had a deal on it but it may be shaky, and would I wait till june 4,5th till they had more Motor Home they had advertised on the net. I was told they had a deal on it but it may be shaky, and would I wait till june 4,5th till they had more info from the credit people,at that time I gave him credit info to check me out and showed I was Credit Worthy, that was fine i received a call from Mr. Bell on Tuesday he told me the deal was dead and did I want to make an offer to buy it, I did indeed make an offer and we went back and forth till Saturday june 9,2012. They gave me the numbers it would take to buy it (I have the Emails to prove this offer from them) and that was it on their end It was $75800.00 and they would put new tires on it, I said fine we will do it, at that time I asked Mr Bell if he needed any cash he said no because I had previously sent them credit info that was approved (by the way with US Bank I have been approved from them)with my cash down. Mr Bell told me he was off Monday but the finance department would want some more info and they would call me Monday morning. I waited and no one called so, I emailed Mr Bell and then some one did Call late Monday. Vicky took the info and then told me it was approved with no problems on Tuesday. so Tuesday Im waiting and I get an email from Mr. Bell he was late getting in because his mother was ill apprx 4pm.I tried calling him with no Avail, I then started to call others and not one person would talk with me or call me back. I also Left a message for Mr. Arborgast he hasn't called and Mr Siclar the GM, he has not returned my call. late Tuesday someone called me to tell me it was sold over the weekend to the previous buyer. How could that be when I was dealing on it over the weekend, I still think they were playing me against the other customer which to me is deceptive at best. More
Although I did not purchase; I thought it highly relevant to give accolades to Pat Borton and his teammate Kari Jennings who were both consummate professionals. As I was looking at a certain vehicle two thi to give accolades to Pat Borton and his teammate Kari Jennings who were both consummate professionals. As I was looking at a certain vehicle two thirds of a continent away he made every effort to accommodate my requests for information; always in an expeditious manner. If and when Dave Arbogast RV Depot does get the vehicle I am looking for Pat will be the first person I call. As a military officer I can honestly say Pat has definitely impressed me with his professionalism and honesty. More
We recently purchased a 2012 Rockwood Windjammer travel trailer. Dave Kasler was our salesman. We started out with Dave showing us the units on hand, but the unit we were interested in was not in stock. trailer. Dave Kasler was our salesman. We started out with Dave showing us the units on hand, but the unit we were interested in was not in stock. He suggested that we could order it and it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. Since we currently had a travel trailer (our trade in) the wait of 6-8 weeks was no problem. So we did the workup and selected all the options we wanted in the unit. Dave was very professional, a good listener, and quite knowledgeable in providing us with information about the options as we decided on the ones we wanted. Dave called us the next day and presented us with a quote and allowed us to make our decision without any high pressure sales tactics. Once we decided to purchase the unit, we placed the order. The process was easy and all the paperwork was straightforward. We then met Karen for the financing. She was quick and efficient in answering all of our questions and obtaining the lowest interest rate available. Since we were leaving on vacation the next day, Karen took the time to call our cell phone to discuss the rates. Now we were just waiting the unit to arrive. We were getting more anxious and excited to get our new unit as the weeks passed. Finally it arrived and we wanted to take a sneak peek at it prior to closing the deal. It looked so awesome approaching it. As we entered the Windjammer our excitement quickly went to disappointment. Rockwood not only changed the interior color scheme they also changed the floor plan without notifying Arbogast RV. It was an instant deal breaker for us. We were astonished that Rockwood would change the floor plan on such a popular unit. Dave felt bad for us and said they would do what they could to keep our business. By the next day Dave located a Windjammer 900 miles away in Oklahoma that they were willing to transport for us. We located an acceptable unit that Arbogast obtained for us from Lancaster, Ohio. Our walk through the unit was thorough and professional. Justin did a great job and answered all of our questions. Next up was finance where Karen made the financing of the unit a breeze. Our last problem was the equalizer distribution sway bars. The brackets that mount to the trailer frame needed to have more adjustment holes than ours had. They switched the brackets with ours from their showroom display saving us $400 and we were ready to go. THANKS to Dave and the rest of the folks at Arbogast for going the extra mile for us!!!! Now we are the proud owners of a 2012 Windjammer that we absolutely love!!!!!!! More

Mark Bensman was extreme All employees were very friendly, concerned with our needs and well-informed about the class B camper van we purchased. Mark Bensman was extremely patient with us as we were new to the camper experience & answered (or found out answers in a timely manner) all our questions effectively & courteously. We test drove two very similar camper vans--same model, same year, nearly identical mileage--and Mark was quite helpful in comparing the relative features of each vehicle, making our final choice seem easy and certain. We visited Arbogast twice and spent at least two hours each time being taught the various features, how to use them, safety issues and most importantly, how best to protect our investment. Justin gave us an exhaustive walk-thru explaining all the systems, functions, winterizing/dewinterizing and made fine recommendations on vital accessories to insure safe and long-term functioning of the camper van. I was expecting the usual pressured sales approach typical with auto dealers but was pleasantly surprised to find quite the opposite. We felt relaxed & comfortable throughout the whole learning, trying & buying process. We both would highly recommend Mark,Justin,Karen and Tina (in the accessories store) as well as Arbogast in general to anyone seeking any kind of camper or motorhome. More
