Had a great experience at Darrell Waltrip Subaru with Nick Easton. Initiated contact via email (thru Sam's Club) TrueCar. Nick was able to find my desired vehicle in an incoming order. Was even able to add some options that I wanted at port of entry (meaning no install fees, just the option cost). Nick kept me updated through the whole process of the car being shipped all the way till arrival. I highly recommend both Nick and Darrel Waltrip Suburu. More
I have been a customer at Darrell Waltrip Subaru for about ten years. This dealership does all of the service to my Subarus. This is my fourth Subaru and the second Subaru purchased at DW. I have bee about ten years. This dealership does all of the service to my Subarus. This is my fourth Subaru and the second Subaru purchased at DW. I have been 100% satisfied until now. This is my first complaint against this dealership. My salesperson was very pushy. I told him I was not able to buy on that day because I was waiting for my investment company to send me the money so I could pay cash. He ignored me and continue to push. He was not able to answer my questions about the automatic shut off for the engine or about the beeps the car makes when you lock or unlock the doors. To make matters worse, when he did not know an answer to my question, he made one up. For example, I told him I needed to hear the door lock/unlock beep so I could find the car in a parking lot. Rather than help me with this, he told me to turn on the panic alarm if I want to find my car in a crowded parking lot. In addition, I told him that my wife was disabled and that I could not be away from her for more than a few hours (2-3 hours). Mark took advantage of this by dragging out the time needed to process my used car until he knew I was rushed. It took five hours to process my used car. During most of the time I waited in the sales room. The finance person (Q. Gordon) also took advantage of this. When I went in to finance the car, I told him I planned to pay cash for the vehicle but I had to wait 1-2 days for my investment company to process the paperwork. I was told they could not put down a deposit or hold the car. The he told me they needed $2000 to hold the car until the Subaru finance company could process my loan. Then he told me I could pay off the loan when I got the money from my investment company. In addition, he threw the paperwork at me so fast that I do not know exactly what I paid for. I am very happy with my new Subaru Touring. I am very happy with my years long relationship with DW Maintenance. You will see me again. However, based on this experience, I don't know if I will buy another car from DW. Trust and honesty are very important to me. I feel the salesperson and the finance person violated my trust. More
