I told them they said I could buy one they wouldn't admit to not placing back. They said they would put it in for free but when I got the part they told me $80 for 4 screws. Then when I took part home it was the wrong part so retuned it bought on Internet and did it myself. More
GM and service manager refused to honor warranty. Refused to honor Volvo Extended Warranty #205. This warranty covers the PCV box that Volvo has admitted is defective. Service manager and GM wanted to Refused to honor Volvo Extended Warranty #205. This warranty covers the PCV box that Volvo has admitted is defective. Service manager and GM wanted to charge me $750 to complete a repair fully covered by this warranty that is supposed to cover the part for 10 years or 120,000 miles. Will NEVER purchase another car from these people again. GM hung up on me. May have to pursue legally. More
Service for Subaru I am new to area and I am super pleased with my experience with the Subaru service department. It started with with setting up the appointment. They were very patient with my questions over the phone. I asked how long the appt would take and they said generally 1 1/2 hours. Cool..I could deal with that. When I arrived, from get go, driving up, the staff outside was SUPER friendly and helpful! When I went in, Ryan and the service team was more than friendly and helped me understand the process at their facility. I was very surprised when Ryan came around a 1/2 hour later to get me. My car was done! The staff that serviced my car was efficient and clean and took very good care of my vehicle! Thank you for making my transition to a new facility a very pleasant and happy experience and KUDO's to the Subaru Service Team at Darrell Waltrip Subaru Volvo!!!!! More
Took '03 S80 (T6) in for recall. Had a fuel smell in garage when we filled the tank to maximum. The dealer said our vehicle did not have the defective part so they did not replace the recalled part si garage when we filled the tank to maximum. The dealer said our vehicle did not have the defective part so they did not replace the recalled part since it was a different supplier. Also asked about our oil leek of the car before ever even looking at the vehicle. I informed them that the car is garaged and we had no leaks. Well when we got it back home we did have a leak, a bad one which now requires we place large sheets of cardboard under car to keep floor from being stained badly. Oh and the fuel leak we did not have, now leaks MUCH worse. I guess the next step is a independent mechanic and possibly a lawyer. Luckily I replace the gas hot water heater with an electric on in our garage just before getting this car as with the fumes an ignition of the water heater would probably have blown up the house. Volvo cars are great, can't say the same for the dealer. May take it to Louisville for future recalls and work. More
