9th vehicle from Darlings! Being my 9th purchase, it is not a surprise that I once again received exceptional service from Darlings. I was looking for a used Jeep wrangler and realized that Kyle was as much of a Jeep enthusiast as he was a salesman. He was extremely knowledgable about the wrangler and the options. He took the time to send me pictures and check out the specific issues I had with my last jeep. The whole value center team was great, even invited my springer spaniel into the office for a drink and plenty of attention. Great price and excellent value. Relieved I had been looking to trade in my current vehicle for quite some time but had been unable to due so because of poor credit. I went to Darling's and w I had been looking to trade in my current vehicle for quite some time but had been unable to due so because of poor credit. I went to Darling's and was approached by Andy in the parking lot. I explained my situation...that my credit is poor due to taking time off from work in order to take care of a terminally ill parent and I was completely upside down on my current vehicle. I explained I have a full-time job and am more than capable of paying for a vehicle payment even though it looked bad on paper. Not once did he say they wouldn't be able to help me. He offered a test drive on a vehicle I was looking at while he took my information to complete a credit app. Because it was late on a Saturday, Andy informed me it would be atleast Monday before I would get an answer. He called me on Tuesday to tell me that I was approved by their Fresh Start Program at New Reach Financial but the company would require 25% down. I informed him that I would not be able to do that for this particular vehicle so we discussed what price range would work for me at 25% down and both started looking for vehicles. I went in the next day to test drive a couple I found and Andy informed me they had just received a 2006 Chevy Impala in trade that had just came out of from being detailed. I was more than willing to take a look as it was priced lower than what I was looking at and had less miles. The car ran great and looked like it was in good shape inside, no issues that I could tell. He ran the vehicle through and notified me the next day that what I was able to pay for a down payment was agreed upon by the finance company. I went in after work to sign all the papers. I walked out with a payment similar to my current payment, a television, a new car and a feeling of relief. Andy was personable, friendly and went above and beyond to help me get this vehicle. He made me feel as though he was doing this because he wanted to, not for a paycheck, which makes all the difference in the world. I would definitely recommend going to Darling's for your vehicle needs and I would definitely ask for Andy! More

She needed a car to accomplish this. She needed payments that she could carry on her own and a car that was safe and reliable. We have been loyal Toyota customers for over 20 years but we decided to look at Hondas for the first time. When we went to Darlings we had no intentions on purchasing a car that day as we planned to just gather information and get a feel for what we could get in our budget. We met our salesman, Tim Carlson, outside and told him why we were looking. He showed us three cars in the range of the budget we were looking for. We test drove two of them and like both of them but the Honda Civic was low mileage, had lots of safety features, was in great shape and they gave us a good deal including a fair trade in price on our faithful 2003 Corolla. Believe me, it took a lot for us to buy other than Toyota! Everyone was helpful. When we got it home we discovered the jack and wrench was missing in the spare tire compartment and they found one for us the same day. We have peace of mind that our daughter has a safe and dependable car to see her through college and likely graduate school. More

My boyfriend and I are expecting our first child in May, so we were looking to get a safe, reliable family vehicle within a certain price range. After dealing with other dealerships in the area and falling so we were looking to get a safe, reliable family vehicle within a certain price range. After dealing with other dealerships in the area and falling short, we went to Darlings Value Center. I had called ahead of time and set up an appointment and when we arrived, Kyle greeted us at the door and right then I knew he was going to do everything in his power to find us something! After test driving our "ideal" vehicle and unfortunately it not being in our price range, Kyle walked around the lot with us and showed us many other different options and finally we found one that suited our needs/wants. Even still having to deal with the banks and other things that come with a vehicle and it was about 2 hours past his time to go home, he was still very upbeat and willing to do anything he could. We ended up having to wait until the next morning to get the exact answer from the bank we liked and as soon as we found out, he said he would have all the paperwork ready to be signed and make it official. After 2 hours of driving from our hometown, we arrived and true enough, all the paperwork was done and ready for us and not long after we were on our way in our new vehicle. Kyle was very professional yet made the experience exciting and enjoyable. He was very friendly with my boyfriend, myself and my boyfriends father as they expressed the same passion for hunting and being outdoors and also very attentive to any needs or wants I, myself, may have had through out the day. Spending that many hours in a car dealership can be exhausting and his great personality made it a lot better than what it could have been! I would highly recommend Darlings Value Center when thinking about purchasing a vehicle, all the staff there seemed really nice, but by far would recommend Kyle overall! More

My husband and I were looking for a decent used van to fit our family needs and our budget as well as looking for a decent used car for our teenage daughter. We opted to check out Darlings Used Auto Lot fit our family needs and our budget as well as looking for a decent used car for our teenage daughter. We opted to check out Darlings Used Auto Lot after some prompting from my parents who have purchased several new/used vehicles from Darlings. Upon reaching the lot, for our first visit, we started looking around, about 5-10 minutes of us wandering around the lot and discussing several different options, Adam Somes approached us to inquire what we may be in the market for and what our plans for a vehicle(s) were. I liked Adam right off. He was real. He was NOT high pressure and he whole heartedly gave the impression that he truly wanted to help us find exactly what we were looking for. He then left us alone for a bit to continue looking, while he (unbeknownst to us) was searching their inventory for a vehicle that was in our price range--I'm talking like a couple thousand dollars. He did find a vehicle and showed it to us, but it wasn't exactly what we had in mind....the price was right, but the product wasn't. We thanked him, he gave us his business card and encouraged us to return again, as the inventory does change frequently. Two weeks later, after we had talked with our bank about a loan--and were approved up to 12,000 dollars, we decided to get really serious about getting a vehicle. That particular day, we opted to got to Quirks first. I had gotten a mailing saying that I had won 3 gifts and that they could find a vehicle to fit every budget. We did not do well at Quirks. They did show us a nice 2010 Chrysler Town and Country mini van, that was just lovely and would fit our family's needs, but NOT our budget. After explaining several times, that we could not afford this vehicle and that we were looking for something a bit older, we were finally able to leave that dealership. I just said to my husband, let's go back to Darling's and see Adam. I liked the way he treated us before, and I prefer his "sales" style soooo much better. We crossed the street and were back at the Darlings Used Car Lot. Upon driving in, we saw a van that greatly interested us. We got out, began to look it over and discuss it's possibilities. Adam approached us, after I set the car alarm off (haha) to see what we had been up to and if we were interested in that van. We found out that it was a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan. Adam went to get the paperwork on it as it had just been taken in on trade. Upon returning, Adam showed us what the mechanics had found wrong with it and what it would need for an inspection sticker...he also gave us the price $1,955. I really thought he had made a mistake on the price, it just seemed too low...I asked him to repeat it. Adam then let us drive it around the lot to see what we thought of it. My husband is a great mechanic, so once he gave the van an "all clear". We had made up our minds, this was our van. Adam helped us to fill out the paperwork, put some money down, as we were going to need to call or bank that Monday to get our loan for the remainder. We were so excited that day leaving the lot. We couldn't wait to get our van. Disappointment dawned Monday afternoon once I called the bank. They would not give us the loan because the vehicle was a wholesale vehicle. I wanted to cry....we seemed so close, but yet not close enough. I spoke with Amy in the Finance Dept. at Darlings that same afternoon. She is just about the sweetest person I've ever met. She asked if I would be interested in giving her our information to see if she could help us get the loan to fit our needs and to make that van ours. I half-heartedly gave her our financial information (all the while thinking....this is never going to happen). She thanked me and said that she would be back in touch that same day. I hung up the phone feeling defeated and depressed. A half our later, Adam gave us a call to let us know that we had been approved! Oh my goodness, I was so thrilled! The loan fit our budget and for the time frame that we had been thinking (1 year). We were able to go get our "new" van within 2 days of that phone call. Everyone was so helpful and friendly at the dealership. Andy helped us to sign the paperwork, Adam chatted with us while we waited for the tow truck (since it was a wholesale vehicle). I just had a peace about the sale and felt like we had made the right choice. Adam is a great salesman. He's really personable and real. He's not high pressure which is a trait that I greatly appreciate. He doesn't make you feel like you are not a "top drawer" customer because you aren't spending $10,000. He listens when you tell him what you are looking for and doesn't pressure you to buy something that you know in your heart that you can't afford. I really felt like that everyone there was as excited for us as we were to get our van. Andy was super friendly and funny. I consider Amy a miracle worker, for getting that loan approved in record time...and she's real sweet and friendly. Our experience was top notch with everyone at the Darlings Used Car Center. I will be going back there to buy my vehicles for as long as I'm in the area....and if we move out of the area, I hope there is a Darlings Used Car Center in that area with people working there as wonderful as Adam, Amy and Andy. I will definitely recommend Darlings to all of my family and friends. More
