Terrible Customer service I had called in the morning to make sure a specific vehicle I was interested in was there. I was told by Gary that it was and that he would have it re I had called in the morning to make sure a specific vehicle I was interested in was there. I was told by Gary that it was and that he would have it ready for me that afternoon. He knew I was coming from an hour away. Upon getting there I was told that he had found out the vehicle had been sent to Rockland 10 minutes before I got there. You could have called me to let me know and save me driving all the way there or you could’ve called and had them turn the car around so I could see it. He then brings his manager over. Their solution…wait two hours and bring the car back. He did offer to take some money off the vehicle, but at that point I had enough of the rude treatment and was ready to walk out. The manager then insults us by saying if we weren’t happy with the price we weren’t going to buy it today anyway. I wouldn’t drive an hour to see a specific vehicle and not be ready to buy. I also would not agree to a price on a vehicle that I hadn’t even seen! The next day I received a text that if I still hadn’t found a car they could bring the Edge to me. If you had offered that while I was sitting at your desk I would have been happy with that solution. I took my business elsewhere, spent more money that same night on a similar Edge, but was completely satisfied because I was treated respectfully at another dealer. The way you treat your customers goes a long way and I have already told people I know in the Brunswick area to stay away from Tucker Ford. More

Gary Goodman, salesman asked if he could help. Explained my situation and also stated I knew his job was to sell a car, but what I needed was a salesperson who would work with me so we both could achieve our goals. Gary worked with me through the lease issues and explained how the lease worked. I had one year left, was over mileage and was preparing to purchase new tires and brakes for a vehicle I did not own. Gary found a vehicle that fit my needs, and financing was able to locate a lower rate then the preapproved loan rate I walked in with. Gary was professional and caring. I purchased a vehicle (2014 Ford Escape SUV) that has low mileage. Still under warranty and took out Extended Certification package. All went well. I would recommend anyone going to Tucker but I also recommend you walk in with a preapproved interest rate. They are professional as well as respectful and friendly. More
