Great People I had called on Saturday night and was able to talk with the guy that told me that he would have me schedule for Monday. I was very pleased with the services and with the rental car. I have never been to a mechanic that kept inform on what was going on and to call me to tell me that the delivery truck was delayed but will try his hardest to have my truck fix. I am very pleased with the help and the service that was given to me, especially the rental car. We will be back and probably buying another truck with them. Thank you More
Discouraged and disappointed First of all my appointment was not in the computer system in Ellsworth, I specifically requested the appointment in Ellsworth as I was coming from Ba First of all my appointment was not in the computer system in Ellsworth, I specifically requested the appointment in Ellsworth as I was coming from Bar Harbor. I received an e-mail from Darling's on June 20, 2014, confirming my appointment. My appointment was for an oil change and tire rotation. The service technician came out to the waiting room and asked me where he could find the lug nut key for the tire rotation job. My husband informed the service technician that there were two glove compartments and an access compartment in the rear of the vehicle under the rug to look in. Apparently, he never found the key as the tires were not rotated. Once I was informed that my car was ready by the service clerk at that point he informed me that they were unable to rotate my tires because they could not locate the lug nut key. My husband went out to my vehicle in the garage bay and found the key within moments of looking. Now I have to make another appointment to have my tires rotated. Not impressed. More

I originally went there because of an interest in a specific brand of vehicle. I've been going back because of the customer service and quality of their work. Everyone seems to take pride in doing the little extra things to make customers feel good. Mike and Andy in the Service Department have always treated me farily and communicated well with me. The mechanics do a great job and are thorough. I will continue to go back because it feels like working with family and I like they way they do business. More

My third vehicle (Saturn) was purchased when living in Pa. I have been extremely impressed with all the employee at this facility. Each greets you with a hello and a smile. As a female, I feel well advised and comfortable that they are honest with me and that they are not recommending unnecessary repairs for my vehicle. First-class service On April 10 my 2009 Civic (purchased at Darling's Bangor) was very slow to start. Worse than that were the electrical gremlins that popped up: "Enter On April 10 my 2009 Civic (purchased at Darling's Bangor) was very slow to start. Worse than that were the electrical gremlins that popped up: "Enter code" messages, lit airbag icons, all kinds of crazy things. Anyway, I had left my house in Bar Harbor and was on my way to Darling's Bangor, and then thought maybe the Ellsworth shop could help. So I drop by out of the blue to the service department, where I met Mike Ellis. To make a long story short, he took care of everything with good cheer and helpfulness. With minimal input from the Bangor service department, he figured everything out (turned out to be a bad battery) and sent me on my way. Fantastic! So, many thanks to Mike. It ended up being a very pleasant experience. Even my Labrador retriever, Mimi, would agree (she got lots of love in the waiting room). It goes without saying you have a first-class employee who is a great credit to your operation. More
