I am giving this dealership a poor rating. Not a good experience. When I originally called I was given to one Salesman who I spoke to. We spoke several times and I made an appointment with him to com experience. When I originally called I was given to one Salesman who I spoke to. We spoke several times and I made an appointment with him to come in later that afternoon. When I arrived the Salesman was not available and I was handed to someone else. The car I had made the appointment to test drive was not there and it appeared it never had been. Why would I be driving there to see a car when they didn't have it? I ended up driving with a different salesman to a storage lot in about 20 minutes north in a car with several other people and the Salesman to pick-up a slightly different model/year of the car I was interested in. I was in a car with three others and was not comfortable as I this is during a pandemic. So I opened my window and tried to breath air only through the window. There was very little evidence that the dealership was doing more than the absolute minimum to avoid spreading the virus then they were required to do. The salesman's desks were very close and many groups of people were gathered at each small desk. My lease was never explained adequately to me although I did call back several times to have it clarified. I still don't understand how my payment was arrived at and have spent hours trying to figure it out on my own. My floor mats were forgotten by my Salesman, so I took my new car home with paper on the floor. OK, but I was asked to come back several days later when he was available as he did not work until a couple of days later and so I had to wait, only upon my husband's return with the matts did I see he had been given the wrong size, which had to be brought back and again I had to wait until my Salesman was available so I could drive back to the dealership again to pick them up. Really?? This is how they operate at this dealership. One of the manuals included in the car was for a completely different model. I told my Salesman asking if he would get me the correct one. No such manual ever arrived. I had to wait for every step in my sales process - I had an appointment but still waited over an hour sitting in their "waiting" area just to review my lease contract with the credit manager. When I finally sat down with him I was handed a long contract and asked to sign it in several places. I was not given time to review it - this is their normal process. When I came back to pick up my car - the first time I set eyes on it - it was shoved in between two other cars so closely that I could not open the door without turning sideways so I could literally slip in. My Salesman mentioned 3 times to me that I needed to give him a perfect review. That appeared to be the most important thing to him, not my actual satisfaction. Although I am happy with the car, the salesman was a nice pleasant guy and I mostly don't blame him (I blame the dealership), and the price I paid was great, I cannot recommend this dealership and plan to avoid it going forward as much as possible. It took 6 months to resolve and receive a refund for a hidden fee of $1295 that was dishonestly included at the time of purchase of a used 2015 Elantra. This situation was finally resolved by me appearing at the dealership and creating an embarrassing disturbance in front of a showroom full of customers! I resorted to this behavior after repeated efforts by myself and Hyundai Corporate which failed to be successful! The members of finance dept. repeatedly lied to me and ignored Corporates involvement. Additionally, there were dangerous mechanical issues with the car that were repaired by another Hyundai dealer in Kingston, NY YOU'VE BEEN WARNED, PURCHASE AT YOUR RISK! More
