Ms. Levine, we are sorry that you were disappointed in your experience. When your father called to discuss the costs, he gave us indication that you were moving forward with the purchase which was why the deposit was applied to your credit card. We apologize if we misunderstood the situation. After listening to the recordings of both conversations we are unsure as to why you would characterize Courtney as being aggressive or hostile in any way, but we understand that this is your perception. Courtney was trying to provide you with accurate information, but as he attempted to explain, without a credit application, your details for incentive qualification, and your preferred price point, he could only provide the MSRP. His mistake was in assuming you understood that this was subject to tax, title, and fees. Regarding the deposit, generally, credit card deposits can take 7-14 business days to refund, dependent on the bank. There would have been no reason to dispute the charge as Courtney had begun the process of the refund. We are glad to hear that you were able to find a vehicle to meet your needs. We wish you safe driving.

LOL I did understand it was subject to tax, title, and fees. Your dealer fees just happened to be higher than other dealers hence why I questioned... And I am not concerned with how long it would take to issue a refund. What I was frustrated about was how I was spoken to and the fact that I emailed management and did not get a response. Also, using my father as an indicator that I was comfortable with the purchase is unacceptable. I have an over-protective father like most, but I am 25 years old no one has authorization to charge my accounts except for me that should be common sense. I dont know what recording you listened to (or how because it was his personal cell phone that I called) but if somehow you were able to listen to our conversation you would hear him accuse me of challenging his character and screaming at me. You would also hear me on the phone asking why he was being aggressive. But after speaking to management I realize now this is NOT a courtney problem, its a dealership issue. Management is totally content with talking disrespectfully to customers. I stand by every statement I have made. If anyone is looking for a car go to Balise Hyundai in Fairfield!
