AVOID THIS DEALER Terrible dealer services. Years of faulty recall repairs and unnecessary work to car. Latest was nearly $3,000 that ‘may fix’ ongoing problems. I had tested at a reputable repair shop and they verified no need for $3,000 repair. They also verified after a day of testing that parts associated with Hyundai recalls and multiple technical services bulletins were faulty. Hyundai Danbury either did not replace previously or replaced incorrectly. I have never received return phone calls from the owner or general manager regarding these issues. By the way Hyundai Consumer Affairs at their corporate HQ was no help and simply referred me back to the dealer. They will request the dealer owner contacts me and closed the case without resolution. I put in a deposit to reserve a vehicle which I later cancelled due to personal reasons. Its been close to two months since I told my sales person (Michael) at the time that I was no longer interested an cancelled due to personal reasons. Since then I have been to the dealership 5 times talked to various people asking for the refund and I still haven't received the check. I was told I will get a call once the check is ready and no call yet. Not sure how long I have to wait. The reservation clearly states 100% refund but it DOES NOT state that it takes months to get YOUR own money back. P.S : Received refund check after exactly 2 months. More
