This is why we go to Toyota, the product is excellent and the salesman made it fun to buy; not much critical thinking to do. Both my wife and I are very pleased with the level of service we received from Nathaniel - from his introduction all the way through his walk through of the vehicle. All sales personal in Wappingers Falls are knowledgeable and friendly to work with. Nathaniel just happen to be the one to greet us and explain the difference between a 2017 and 2018 model at that point I was sold. The next task was identifying the colors for the exterior and interior and the rest is history. A special thanks to Allison in the service dept. for going above and beyond for all her customers. vacuum pump recall I received a recall notice and called to schedule an appointment. The person I spoke to on the phone (Joann) put me on hold to check if the part was a I received a recall notice and called to schedule an appointment. The person I spoke to on the phone (Joann) put me on hold to check if the part was available. She then told me she would make the appointment 3 weeks out to make sure the part was in. I received at least 3 different emails from DCH , the last one the DAY BEFORE the appointment to confirm. I arrived and was told it would be 1 1/2 hr wait. After almost 50 minutes Thomas came and told me unfortunately they didn't have the part. I then waited another 10 minutes to get my car back. Thomas tried to help by giving me a free car wash certificate and a $15 gas card. I was extremely disappointed that DCH just didn't have its act together. I expected better communications within your shop so that at minimum Thomas should have known part was unavailable when I checked it. All in all a very BAD experience! More
Bought a car I went to DCH Toyota of Wappingers falls not knowing if I would be able to be financed and they got me the approval. I was supposed to pick the car up I went to DCH Toyota of Wappingers falls not knowing if I would be able to be financed and they got me the approval. I was supposed to pick the car up on a Wednesday but due to circumstances I needed to pick it up a day early. Everything wasn't ready and my salesperson was off that day but Eric Lahl made sure someone could take care of me and get everything ready to go. Wilfrin finalized everything for me and I was able to get my car earlier than originally planned. They are all great people there and treat every one with great respect. Will definitely use them for all my car servicing and shopping needs. More

excellent service and excellent place Every time I come back to this service center for either the routine checkout or a maintenance, I enjoy the stay. Dangerous Situation We brought our 2017 Toyota Sienna in to DCH Toyota for a “free inspection.” It ended up being far from free. They called us a couple of hours later sa We brought our 2017 Toyota Sienna in to DCH Toyota for a “free inspection.” It ended up being far from free. They called us a couple of hours later saying that we needed $960.00 worth of new tires. This car is only one year old with 25,000 miles on it. This sounded strange to us. We told them that we would wait on the tires but they said the car couldn’t pass inspection unless we changed at least two of the tires. So, basically they were holding our car hostage unless we purchased at least two of the tires. We purchased the tires which cost over $500.00. When we got home and looked at our new tires, we realized that they replaced the two tires on the right side of the car with brand new tires and left two bad tires on the left side. What they were supposed to do is place the two new tires on the front and the two worn tires on the back. Instead, the car had two brand new tires on the right side and two old tires on the left. We called Toyota on Sunday night and again on Monday. No one would get back to us. Finally, on Tuesday after leaving a slightly angry voice mail, someone finally returned my call and told me to come in ASAP to have the tires fixed. They admitted that the technician was new and didn’t know any better. What we wondered was, if he was that new to the job and didn’t have very basic knowledge about tire replacement, why wasn’t he being supervised? I couldn’t get to Toyota until 5:00 after work. So, by the time I arrived at the dealer, I had commuted to and from Westchester four times. My job requires me to do a great deal of driving throughout the day. I drove a tremendous amount of miles for two days before I was able to come to Toyota to get the tires fixed. Driving the car that way was not safe nor was it good for the car. When I arrived at Toyota, the woman I dealt with apologized several times for the mistake. However, all she would offer me for their error and my troubles was a free oil change. What I have learned from this experience is: Goodbye dealer and hello honest, competent, and local auto repair shop. I will never bring my car to the Toyota dealer for service again. It is very disappointing to receive this kind of treatment after all of the Toyotas that my family has purchased here over the years. I would recommend that Toyota customers find an honest mechanic that you trust for your car repair and maintenance needs. More
