Wow, Wow, Wow, is all I can say. I took my 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport into DCH today for an oil change and tire rotation. When I purchased my Tacoma from DCH brand new, I purchased a serv I took my 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport into DCH today for an oil change and tire rotation. When I purchased my Tacoma from DCH brand new, I purchased a service plan. (I thought) that the service plan covered oil changes every 5000 miles. So when I went in for my appointment today I assumed the oil change was covered and I knew I had to pay for the tire rotation. So when they told me my plan only covered 2 oil changes a year not every 5000 miles, to say the least I wasn’t happy. So I went ahead and had them do the oil change and tire rotation. I assumed I would be paying about $150 to $200 dollars. Well to my surprise DCH not only covered the oil change that I was responsible for, they covered the tire rotation. Let that sink in for a moment, I’ve never had any company pay for something I was responsible for, and then pay even more. This proves once again to me that DCH Wappingers Toyota respects and rewards customer loyalty. I’ve had many great experiences with DCH, and just when I thought they couldn’t surpass my expectations anymore, man did they blow me away. I can go elsewhere but I choose to drive 40 minutes or so to DCH, and now again they remind me why I chose them. Hey Toyota corporation this should be your number one dealership in the northeast. We started with a lovely young salesman named Christian Behrns. He was extremely helpful, made good suggestions, was respectful of our budget, and found vehicles that matched our needs and wants. Upon reviewing paperwork later in the week we found optional accessories in a charge that was not explained to us by the finance person who we saw on our first visit and he wasn't very pleasant. We were disappointed that the optional accessories were things that had already been done to the vehicle, so they weren't exactly options for us. That was extremely disappointing on behalf of Toyota. Christian returned phone calls Promptly and reached out as necessary to get insurance information and make sure everything was going smoothly. The next day I received a call from Corey who was as confused as I was that Christian had left the dealership. I did reach out and speak with a manager named Josh, Who was extremely helpful and kind. Our frustrations , however , were mounting , given the lack of communication From the dealership itself. I was told that Angel would be our finance person and he was ready to help when we were closing the purchase a few days later. Josh said he would do whatever he needed to do to improve communication and would find a way to accommodate us for the difficulties during the week In regards to communication. When we came in on Saturday to pick Up the vehicle and hand over a check, our appointments started 30 minutes late, And honestly, the only compensation we were offered for some of the miscommunication by Toyota was employee pricing for an extended warranty which we had already indicated we were not interested in, so this was not of benefit to us in any way nor did it compensate us for the miscommunication from Toyota. Corey Was extremely kind and helpful and got the car ready for our pickup. He said he was happy to help out and understood that it was kind of an unusual and awkward situation. Christian deserves the full commission From the sale because other than closing the deal, he did everything we asked, was helpful, and asked questions of more senior people to make sure he was doing everything right. We were very satisfied with how we were treated as humans by Christian and Josh and Corey. Angel Was very nice and answered all of our questions, but again, we had been informed that Toyota would be going out of their way at the finance appointment to compensate us for the inconveniences and miscommunication during the week. This entire process happened within the span of one week from our first test drive to handing over a check and driving away with a new car. More
