Ronnie Bean is unlike a typical Car salesman. He is always ready to accommodate a customer and does whatever it takes to get the best deal for the customer and the dealership. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Cumberland Toyota and Ronnie Bean. Now, if you service department were as good and as honest and efficient as Ronnie Bean you would truly be the only dealership to see when purchasing or servicing your vehicle but you have a loooong way to go to get to that point. I made an appointment to have an o2 sensor replaced on my Lexus. Went to my appointment under the impression that is what was being done to my car while I waited an hour. The rep, Travis, stayed this was a " Lexus. Went to my appointment under the impression that is what was being done to my car while I waited an hour. The rep, Travis, stayed this was a "Lexus OEM" part and would have to special order the part (which is a total lie- a Toyota Denso sensor is in it from the factory). They charged me $140 to READ A CODE, which had already been diagnosed by autozone. They sent me on my way, saying if I wanted the part ordered to let them know. The total quoted price to have the sensor replaced was $692.24- this is absurdly overpriced, seeing as a Toyota Denso OEM upstream sensor only costs $180. I mulled the situation over and went back to the dealer the next day. I asked the same rep why it cost $140 to clear a code and he stated I was paying for the techs time and knowledge (gee, I wish I got paid $140/hr and only actually did 5 minutes worth of work). I became upset because I was obviously being ripped off, and Travis became argumentative and negated everything I said. In absolutely no way did he offer to make things right. I ended up having to remove myself from the situation because it was going nowhere. Oh, and my name was listed as "Rachel Greenline" on the service form... nice little work around so service sheets can't be pulled by customer name. This dealership is beyond crooked and they should be ashamed of themselves. More
